Met Louise today at Peebles market. So enjoyed her frangipane and cherry tart - it was delightful!

Louise created the most amazing cake for my hubby's b'day - looked stunning and tasted out of this world. It was a Croquembouche (google it if you're not sure what that is) - absolutely amazing. Photos available - but can't see how to upload it here.

Stopped off at Loulabelles for a cappuccino. We weren't disappointed, absolutely lovely rich and creamy. We sat outside in the sun 🌞 ☀️ table service was spot on....forgot to mention we were also at the Innerleithen pipeband competition.....fantastic

Loulabelles is a pleasant, bright cafe on the main street of Innerleithen. We sat outside so can't say much about the inside. Once food and coffee were ordered were brought out. Caramel shortcake was great 😋 Service was good and friendly.

This place is a little gem. Friendly staff, great food and service. Dog and bike friendly (bike loops on the wall outside and they even have bike locks you can use - first class).

A warm, delicious haven on a cold, rainy day. A local suggested this to us. We both had piping hot paninis and some soup. So good! Lots of locals in and out, plus some well behaved dogs.

Great stop for lunch on a cold soggy day. Properly hot drinks and a pot of tea instead of a mug makes all the difference. Very happy to have our dog inside with us and they provided water and treats for him ❤️ the food is excellent and loved the pea salad! Great relaxed and comfortable atmosphere sitting by the fire in comfy leather sofas. Will come again!

Enjoyed a good brunch whilst hiking the nearby Southern Upland Way. The staff also made me a couple of cheese rolls to take with me and filled my water bottle, all done with a smile. Busy little cafe, nice mix of clients and a good vibe. Recommended.

Such a friendly local cafe with a delicious menu suitable for all tastes. We were in the local area for the Mighty Deerstalker event and visited here for lunch followed by breakfast the next day we enjoyed it that much. Between us we tried most of the panini/sandwich options as well as the eggy bread with maple syrup and bacon! The breakfast sandwich (Sausage Egg and Bacon was my choice) was exactly what was needed after the event the night before. 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through - dog and muddy person friendly too!

Top cafe, good coffee with lovely cake. We arrived after a long 18 km hike across a section of the Southern Upland Way. We were made very welcome despite these problematic times. We were soon tucking into lovely home made cakes with exceptionally good coffee.

Popped in today at lunchtime after 7 mile walk. Place was pretty full but we were served quickly and food/tea came within minutes. Weather was sunny but cold so I chose the pancakes with bacon, banana and maple syrup as a wee treat. Absolutely delicious and just what I needed to top up the fuel tank. Wife had the bacon/brie toastie with salad and same lovely bacon. The yummy-looking cakes will have to wait for our next visit!

Great cafe in the centre of innerleithen and perfect for a bike stop. Friendly staff, good food options and good value. Also has fixings outside for securing your bike (or dog!).

Called in for lunch and a cuppa after a day mtb riding and fancied the pancakes with baked apple, toffee icecream and cinnamon butter. Wow...a huge plateful arrived that i wasnt expecting! It was a little dry for me (needed more syrupy sauce) so i only managed half of it - although my husband ate one pancake after his brie, bacon and cranberry pannini. All washed down with a huge pot of tea. Nice warm cafe with pleasant staff and good seating- would recommend.

We went just after 12, and it was almost full. After 1, there was a shortage of seats, and the soup was sold out. So go early. The food was good, cake and coffee afterwards were also great. Gluten-free options are available, so that's a bonus. I judge a place on their caramel shortbread, and it was excellent. Good ratio of shortbread to caramel, leaning heavily towards the caramel. Firm, not hard, and not granular as some caramels can be. Milkshake was good, not great, a lot of froth on top, and lacked flavour. Was still pleasant and refreshing, but I was hoping for something more indulgent.

Lovely. Coffee that actually tastes of coffee, good food , dog looked after like royalty and a hugely friendly place generally. Only wish it had been a bit later in the morning so I was justified in having one of the delicious looking cakes. Next time!

Really good. We were looking for a late lunch after a beautiful drive down from Edinburgh. Loads of places to choose from in Innerleithen. So glad we chose Loulabelles. Turned out to be a very good choice. Great paninis and a huge and tasty baked potatoe. Very good coffee indeed. And extremely friendly people.
