Love this place, a little tatty around the edges, but the Ham salad which is what we have is beyond gorgeous, plenty of home cooked ham really thick slices, nice amount of salad, with absolutely amazing coleslaw..... new pots as a side always piping hot....pudding is always demolished too consisting of the best homemade lemon cheesecake ever, served with cream....you won't go wrong with the food at the countryman, friendly staff, reasonably priced ! This is definitely a jewel in Lincolnshires crown....Bravo

This was our first visit after being recommend by a friend. Plenty of choice on the menu and what we had was excellent. Friendly staff also. Will definitely be returning. Last orders 7.30pm, it would be nice if that was extended during the summer season.

Delicious Sunday roast. I always have the lamb, but there's beef, turkey or pork loin. The staff are always friendly. The food is definitely value for money :-)

Smashing find this pub slightly of the beaten track at Ingolmels village. A good choice of beers, largers and ciders with the added bonus of a locally brewed craft ales by The Leila Cottage Brewery "Ace" being my personal favourite. The kitchen here has a varied pub styled menu very well priced prepared and presented to a high standard, overall this pub is well worth a visit.

Nice pub with friendly service. They have 4 of their own beers but there are 3 on cask at any one time. They do a sampler of 3 thirds of a pint for 3.80. No wifi. They do food. There's outdoor seating.

Tradition country style pub with its own micro-brewery serving 3 of their own hand-pulled ales. The food is top quality 'home-made' with friendly staff throughout.

Amazing food. Bit of confusion about turkey/beef but we laughed about it. Honestly the best food I've had in ages. Lovely fresh veg. Home cooked food. Husband had braising steak and said it was delicious. A very good pint of carling dark fruits. Lovely staff who told us some places to go in the rain. Faultless place. Can't wait to go back!

I visit this place anytime I visit Ingoldmells. It's become somewhat of a tradition to visit, since being a kid. *If dining, ring ahead to ensure a table is available as it can get fully booked quickly, especially during high season/school holidays. The food Is always delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant and family friendly, and the staff are always happy to wait on you. Good choice of menu, catering to special diets if needed - purchase your drinks at the bar if eating in - good selection of beers, soft drinks, wines and spirits. Overall, fair pricing and good energy. Personal thoughts: I love this place for its home-from-home feel. I compare this place to dining at home, with a "butler service". In other words, the staff are welcoming, down to earth, professional, helpful, and always happy to share in a little banter - that's what helps make The Countryman what it is - it's a place run by people just like you and I. New for 2022/2023 - also host to a new caravan and camping park to the rear. Nice and small, sweet and simple! I visited during peak season (summer holidays 2023).

What a lovely pub with the most amazing food ! We sat outside as it was a warm evening and ordered our food. A sign specified that there could be a wait as it is all home cooked food and it was worth the wait. It was absolutely beautiful ! Brilliant service , extremely friendly staff and excellent value for money. I would go again but I would book as it gets really busy.

We come here every time we holiday locally, the kitchen has changed hands, the menu is smaller but covers most options and they will accommodate your requests. The lady that served us on both our visits was lovely, so friendly. The food was delicious as always, and the portion sizes are very generous. My son had apple pie for dessert, and that was beautiful, with lashings of custard!

Visited this place for Sunday lunch with my partner while on holiday in June. We booked a table as previously advised to do so. Our table was situated in the cosy dining area. Roast Beef was tender, selection of vegetables and potatoes. All food was homemade, hot, delicious and substantial. They had even warmed the plates! Lovely friendly staff who gave table service and the prices were decent too. The only thing could be improved were desserts were yummy but, they were warm rather than hot. Thankyou for a lovely time and we will certainly return again :)

Fabulous home cooked meals. Gluten Free selection. The braising steak was amazing and I would choose that again.
