Called here as it was one of the first places we stumbled across after finishing the waterfalls trail and we’re hungry and thirsty. We had a cheese and onion toastie which was sublime and I had a pot of tea and the wife had a mocha. The proprietors were very friendly and the places had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Folk from this part of the world in our opinion are so warm and friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. The card machine wasn’t working when we were there but we’re told there is a free cash machine I believe at the nearby Co-op, we had cash on us so it wasn’t a problem. The place as the signage says outside is super foggy friendly. The lady owner even gave our lurcher some treats as soon as we sat down. Lovely touch.

We had a great meal here after the waterfalls trail. The bourbon beef stacks were fantastic, with the best fries I've had in ages. Very good value for money - if anything I'd say that they should put their prices up, the portions are so generous. Absolutely no complaints here. Perfect for a hearty meal after a long walk.

Lovely place and people. Everything cooked fresh and in a open kitchen so you can see them in action yourself

Unassuming place, but totally amazing. We had toasted sandwiches. What arrived was a bit of a surprise - standard sized bread that was absolutely stuffed with filling, together with a very nice salad (no lettuce - yesssss 🙂🙂) and lovely chips. The only real problem was the inability to actually eat the massive sandwich with any degree if decorum. I asked for a second cup of tea only to discover on paying that refills were free. Oh, and the toasties were rather modestly priced, to put it mildly. The only solution to this problem seemed to be to leave a rather large tip. And, the owners/staff were excellent too. Very cheery and helpful.

We tried the courgette and avocado cake, just because it wasn’t a cake we’d had before ( and also always looking to find recipes to use up courgettes). Very nice, spiced cake, flavour combinations worthy of a bake-off, and lovely edible flowers on top. Thanks

Just what we needed after a day at the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. Food was great, we both had the fish and chips special, service was fantastic. Will certainly be coming back when we next visit.

Relaxed atmosphere, can choose from chairs around small tables or a selection of comfy couches. We had tea and cake - the lemon cake came in huge slices and was delicious, very fresh and tasty.
