Ingleton Chippy - Ingleton - Photo album

We are gluten free! So the lady explains how they cook the fish separately with the chips in the chip fryer, rather than their ordinary fish, which are done in a different one, and cooked in beef dripping! Well best gf fish n chip’s I’ve had in many a year, and a reasonable price too
Superb place to get fish and chips in Ingleton. They are not limited to that. They serve several dishes which are reasonably priced and tasty. They serve black coffee too. If you want milk, they separately serve cold milk for you to add according to preference. When you do full ingleton waterfalls t
The best haddock and chips in years. Generous portions, crispy batter and the scraps were dry not greasy. Nicely packaged in cardboard to take away. Well priced too. Friendly staff who added New Zealand to the map on the wall for us. Highly recommend this place just wish it was open more often!
Best chippy in North Yorkshire by far, nice food with good staff
Anne and myself just got before they closed. Mandy was only too willing to cook what we wanted. So friendly and staff were great. And I’ll tell you what, best fish and chips around!
Great Chip shop with friendly staff. Just right after walking round the waterfalls. Small seating area inside. Chip butty, Sausage and gravy. Hmmmmm.!
Since the change of owners earlier this year we've had the fish & chips a couple of times and both times were very good. Lovely crispy batter on the fish. Enough chips for me but Hubby said there wasn't enough chips this time (he's not a greedy eater), first time was plenty so may have just been the
Absolutely delicious, we ordered for 7 people (4 gluten free) it was the nicest gluten free fish and chips we've had......highly recommend 😁 thank you.
Thought I should write a review here, I don't normally but things need to be said. And what needs to be said is that was the best fish and chips meal we've eaten in a very long time. We live near Whitby so are spoilt for choice, but I can safely say my cod and my wife's haddock were second to none b
Came during 40’s weekend and the place was decked out like an air raid shelter. Staff were lovely, fish and chips were tasty and the atmosphere was fab
Really, really, REALLY HUGE portions of fish and chips (you could split an order easily). Minus one star for the chips not having enough salt for my American tastes. The girl behind the counter asked if we wanted salt, and I saw her add it, but salting food after it's fried really doesn't work; it j
Fish and chips were great. The batter was really light and crispy. The bottom was slightly soggy though. Overall it was lovely.
After a wet rainy hike was perfect to smell fish and chips on our way back to the car park. Was dubious at first, as there were no customers and the place looked a little run down. Staff were friendly and told me that the haddock was the more popular order so got the haddock and chips (£6.50) to eat
Beautiful freshly cooked cod and chips after a rainy Ingleton waterfall trail. Cod was amazing and batter very light and crispy. All cooked fresh and with seats available to use inside and outside the shop.
Very well priced, excellent value and quality and very tasty. We had fish, chips mushy peas x 2, one with gravy, one with curry and tried a black pudding fritter. Liked the seating outside, no frills but perfect for what it is and can watch the world pass by
Decent chippy, tasty chips. Not huge portions of chips but enough, especially with 9 chicken nuggets. The light bites fish portion was the right size. Not a huge menu but everything tasted fresh and all reasonably priced.
The fish was beautiful, I could just eat it now.
Proper chips, plenty of mushy peas and I learned what a Yorkshire Fishcake is. You'll have to go there yourself if you want to know.
