We booked to stay and dine, we were not disappointed.
Every member of staff we encountered from arrival to departure was warm and helpful. The room was lovely and clean.
The tasting menu in the evening was beautiful, the atmosphere relaxed. Breakfast was great in the morning too.
Would book again!
First visit for us and we were so impressed. The staff the atmosphere are wonderful. The chef went above and beyond for my dairy intolerance. The presentation and the flavour's of the food really were amazing. Can’t wait to visit again.
Went for taster menu and what a treat! Absolutely superb food and even changed one course as one member had an allergy to Tarragon ( I know weird ). Not cheap but for a special occasion you can't beat it. Service also superb. Highly recommend it and will definitely go again
Went for a meal for my Dad’s 60th birthday, and the staff were so friendly and helpful and made it an incredible experience. The food was exceptional, the setting is lovely and prices are fair too. Highly recommend!
We went there for lunch when away for a long weekend. We didn't stay at the hotel but made 2 visits to the restaurant. By far the best meal I have eaten in a very long time. Absolutely exquisite. We cannot wait to return one day! Thank you for such an amazing gastronomic experience.
If you are looking for something special then this is the place. You will not be disappointed. We pre-booked for a Sunday evening and the venue was comfortable without being overly busy. A warm welcome was offered as soon as we arrived, initially by one of the locals helping my wife and I down the step into the bar area. We had already chosen the Taster Menu...around 7 courses of brilliance from the kitchen. Each one perfectly introduced by Liv. Additionally, Holly attended to our drinks and replacement cutlery. The staff were superb and not intrusive. Each course was delicious...especially the fillet of beef and the scallops. My wife avoided shellfish with a perfectly prepared fillet of Sea Bass. A bottle of Australian Shiraz topped the meal off nicely.
Charlie delivered some complimentary chocs (my birthday) and a bunch of daffs for Mothers Day... a nice touch.
We didn't stay overnight this time around but we hope to soon.
Wonderful food, great place and superb staff.
It was the right choice for us to go for a downstairs, courtyard room. The ceilings were a bit low, the eaves would have been really low.
The room was across from the pub. The ceiling height and shower were fine. Standing up to put clothes on we’d (5 foot 10 and 6 foot) touch the ceiling when our hands went over our head.
The car park is small with no reserved spaces for those staying.
You get juice, tea or coffee and croissants at breakfast and then your choice.
All staff were friendly, whatever the request.
No longer a pub, this is a fine dining restaurant - though the bar has been retained with two beers on draught. Beautifully renovated, cosy and casual atmosphere.
Got busy on a Thursday (outside of school holidays) in Feb so we were lucky (as hadn't reserved).
Every first bite of a new dish was memorable - particularly liked the smoked duck dish that Wasn't relying on fat or fruit for the flavours.
We had an amazing experience. The staff were very attentive, polite and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend
The Swan is a very comfortable place to stay and is justly proud of its restaurant, the food there is very good. The accommodation is in a converted block adjacent to the main bar and restaurant building. Our room was very comfortable and sleep came easily to us.
Across the very adequate car park stands Immingham Church, an impressive building whose history dates back to the 1300s.
Our prime objective for staying there was it's proximity to Horsey Gap, an area well known by those who enjoy watching the local seals who use the beach for resting on Inbetween fishing trips. Although we did not use it, there is comfortable access to areas of the Norfolk Broads from The Swan
