Went for lunch on a Friday around 14:30pm bar area was quiet, conservatory/restaurant area was busier but still a couple of seats available. It was a sunny day so the area did get super hot, eventually the doors were opened to a much welcomed breeelze.
Drink orders placed upon being seated, drinks arrived and had to pay immediately no option to add to bill or no card π³ option to pay only cash, π·. There is an ATM next door in post office available for anyone that needs cash. Waited a further 10 minutes for food order to be taken however when diners who arrived after us were asked first attempted to order food myself at the bar, was told not allowed to order food at the bar, same waitress followed me back to the table and took the order π€¦πΌββοΈ.
Food arrived fairly quickly. Haggis Bons Bons served with a whisky π₯ sauce and Salad, portion size was very generous and tasted great, the sauce had a distinct mustard taste with a kick to it. Salad wasn't fresh.
Lots of options on the menu and kids also catered for. Would definitely go back but hope that the ordering/payment process can be simplified in the future or new available technology can be embraced.
Cosy wee village pub with friendly staff. Good food with massive portions - my steak was amazing, the chips were hand cut and the onion rings were the best I've tasted. Great value for money, will return and would definitely recommend. Special shout out to our server Jeannette who was an absolute star.
I visited this lovely establishment last night with my cousins for the first time. The food was amazing especially the steak pie that I had. Staff were friendly and so were the customers most of whom were regulars. Would definitely recommend. I also enjoyed the quaintness of the place as so warm and inviting. Don't change ππ

Visited the Tavern for lunch with the family today. Had some lovely pub grub and a few drinks with the kiddies in tow and have to say it was a great experience. Word of warning though that caught us out today is cash only with no card facility in the Tavern. There is however just next door a post office which we used to remedy that issue. Best to stock up on cash before making yourself comfortable. Overall recommend a visit as reasonably prices, quick and nice atmosphere inside ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ
Braehead tavern next to McGill terminus round the corner from it the tavern has easy access for wheelchairs and parking does not take credit cards only cash the food is excellent and you get a box if you can't finish it they are big portions when you buy would give this tavern plus 10 for food and very helpful staff thanks was back today with my friend Jean food was excellent as ever john the chef and owner gave us complimentary homemade Christmas shortbread delicious melted in your mouth Jeanette his wife was very helpful everyone should try this braehead tavern photos of the tavern also has outside seating for warm weather that's my favourite place to eat now
Food is amazing. Great portions and great prices. Cash only but still worth 5 stars.
I went with my husband, son and his partner along with their dog. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and they even give your dog fresh water and treats. My son has dietary requirements and the lady that served us was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. All the food is cooked from scratch so my son's dietary needs where not a problem. I have heard about this lovely place from friends and family but has never been myself but will defenently be back.
Took a friend for a meal, was pleased with the varied choice of menu, staff were friendly and meal was delivered quickly and hot,.

Made so welcome from everyone, our dearest friends live here and it's their local! Unfortunately cocktail was a rip off βΉοΈ no food available on Mondays which I hear is excellent. But kindly supplied nibbles. Very clean, staff helpful well done πππ
Kerb appeal is missing particularly from the car park entrance.
However, I am glad I went in as it was a clean, warm and friendly pub.
Jeanette, the waitress, bar lady and cleaner upper was run off her feet. Nevertheless, she always had a smile and looked after her customers very well.
Usual pub food with the addition of wraps and other light meals and snacks.
My wee dog was made welcome therefore, it was a good experience all round.
Easy access for disabled.
Plenty of car park spaces at the rear entrance.

Rustic place in close to the airport. The Staff are so lovely and the food portions are big. As the nice lady who served us said "we missed the course on portion control. π". Its normally out of our way, but we would definitely go back here for the warm vibe and food.
Fab food, friendly staff and fantastic atmosphere
Food was good. Service good. Strange that due to dual? owners that we had to pay for the drinks separately from the food. Also cash only which luckily we were aware of, needs to be sorted. If we are back in the area we will return for another meal.
Food was excellent today. Visited with my Mum and Sister. Mac n cheese and spaghetti n meatballs were perfect. I had potato wedges and salad which were really nice. New York cheesecake and the profiteroles were to die for. All that and three drinks for Β£37. Staff were so nice too π Definitely be back really soon
Lovely place, staff couldn't of been more friendly and welcoming! Great price and large portions too, our wee pup also got water and treats which was lovely!! Will definitely be back, thank you to staff again!
