What an amazing find! The food was beautiful, I thought I made the best tomato soup in the world, seems not! Lovely warm welcome and fabulous Sunday lunch, best I’ve had in a very long time .

She told us when she handed us our menus of the couple items that were not available to order. Which is a refreshing change, usually you find when you ask for it.

We called in on the Black Bull Inn this evening as the hotel we were staying in just up the road had nothing appealing on their menu. A very warm welcome from Steve and staff. Clean, well decorated. Food well-cooked (if veg a tad under-cooked) but fresh, hot and good portions. Good selection of beers and wine. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Hi came up for a family wedding from Plymouth. We went there for Christmas dinner. The place was warm welcoming lovely and cosy. The food was lovely plenty on the plate. The service from staff was friendly nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou for making us welcome and will be back in the future.
