We stayed at Ashford Mills for a school reunion and walked down to the Wyndham Arms for some beers on Friday night. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed the our evening there. A decent little pub!

I played skittles here for the first time and the owners were fantastic the food was great and the drink prices were very reasonable. The pub is situated a little way off the beaten track but well worth a visit and has been modified to a good high standard. A Big shame that the owners are selling but there is still time to enjoy your pint with a great meal!

Arrived unannounced mid week for lunch with 8 people and the proprietors could not have been more accommodating. Created a space to fit us all, and service was impeccable. Food was fabulous (especially the macaroni cheese and the home made beef burgers, ploughmans fit for a bullock!), beer was delicious, top quality service. Can not fault. Thank you Wyndham Arms for having us!

We arrived a little late for lunch, nevertheless we were made very welcome and had a lovely meal - nothing flash just really nice food, made well, and served in a friendly atmosphere - would recommend as a good example an English pub just doing what it does every day and doing it well - many thanks! A new landlord and landlady ( not that there was a problem with the previous ones who I thought were bloody good one), very pleasant and welcoming, has had a spruce up, let's give them some support.
