28 of us went for a group meal and they looked after us magnificently. The food was great, was served quickly and cheerfully and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant place.

Went to The George for a lite lunch in the week, enjoyed what we had so booked for Sunday Roast, absolutely recommend the belly pork, and the roast potatoes are gorgeous, which to me is a must for a Sunday roast.
My first time here today. Two of us plus a dog. Literally nicest, friendliest and efficient staff - great team! Very friendly and welcoming landlady and landlord. Awesome country pub - a proper traditional warm and welcoming pub.
Stupendous menu! The food was amazeballs. Absolutely awesome and the best Crème Brûlée I’ve ever had. Literally we are talking the cats pyjamas level!
Also, without wishing to sound like I have a strange toilet interest…but the cleanest gents toilets I think I’ve ever seen! 😂
Deffo can’t wait to come back here again. This was the best meal/service/setting etc I’ve had for a long time.

I asked the dog for their review but it was basically a collection of excited woofs. So that’s good right?!
We did not have starters, but the main courses and desserts were delicious. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. We will be calling there again.
