Overall I had a good experience here and I would recommend. The atmosphere and the service was really great. I ordered the turmeric latte and I just did not enjoy it that much I wouldn’t order it again, I’d rather order a coffee. To me it just was a bit too turmeric. Then a friend and I ordered two dishes and split them and the food was really good. The only comment I have is that the pancakes are £10 and you only get 3 which I feel is not worth it, that is why I would not recommend the pancakes, I definitely feel it doesn’t cost much to make so there should be more or it should cost less. The toilets were all clean and neat. So summary, I’d visit again but make different food and drink choices. I would explore their cakes a bit more as well, they look amazing.
Perfect! A 2 minute walk away from the train station, the food and atmosphere was amazing. The extra sauces and treats added to the pancakes were one of a kind. The menu was really unique and I even purchased some of their honey as I gift to my mum. Both me and my friend really enjoyed it!

Today was my first visit there and fully recommended. It's really amazing place. Very friendly staff. Super delicious food and lovely atmosphere there. We'll definitely come back soon again xx
Although not in the centre of the town with the action this is a brilliant cafe and a great spot to relax at. There’s a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, with blankets provided outdoors for the chillier days. Dog friendly both inside and out makes it a popular spot too. Upon arriving the staff were friendly and ordering food is quick and easy with their modern process. It was fairly busy during our visit so service time on the food was a little slow, however the staff were genuine and apologetic which saved any bad feelings, and it was totally worth the wait.
The toasties were sizeable and packed with filling and flavour. Presentation was good too with everything being fresh. The truffle chips were a good portion and the perfect accompaniment if you’re wanting a side dish. Coke was served in glass bottles giving a nice high-end feel and adding to the great setting.
Certainly somewhere I’d return to again, being great value to the setting and quality of the food. Highly recommended!
Very nice family run cafe with inside and outside seating. Been here several times now and don't have a bad word to say. The menu is varied with lots of clearly marked options for vegetarian and vegans. Dogs allowed throughout. Save room for cake!!
Thirty Nine is hands down, one of the best cafes I've visited. Everything, from top to bottom, was on-point. I visited with a few others and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
First and foremost, the coffee (and tea) selection is great. The coffee here is made very well, using fresh beans and care.
The food here is cooked by chefs who clearly know what they're doing and have a passion for cooking. It's delicious, tasty and made using quality ingredients.
The cakes, pastries and treats are irresistable. I had to restrain myself at times.
Overall, a great experience and I can't wait to make more visits in the future! Highly recommend Thirty Nine for anyone in the area. It's a great all-rounder.
Nice little place - went for a Sunday late brunch. It has a nice atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Food is well presented - We’ll be back again for sure 👌🏾
Lovely little café. Service was quick and very friendly. We had great value breakfast sandwiches. Sausage, bacon, hash brown and fried egg in a lovely bap. Washed down with equally tasty Americano with pumpkin spice syrup. Only £7.50. There is also a great range of sweet treats. We had clementine and almond cake and blackberry crumble slice
Such a welcoming place, with great food and a lovely family who run it.
Portion size is value for money... I have been a few times and have never been disappointed.
The smoked salmon and scrambled egg is amazing, great bacon sandwiches and I'm a bit osessed with the green smoothie 😂. The cakes are delightful!
I'll be back soon for more!
Popped in for coffee, scone and chat. All lovely. Service good without being overly attentive. Lots of options for those with a particular dietary spec.
This is a tightly packed cafe though, was pleased to be able to sit outside.
