What a delightful find. Great place for a catch up with friends. Beautiful decor, amazing food and friendly staff. Looking for something different to the useful lunch menu then head to Daniel's Cafe. I can highly recommend the Romanian Skewers and the cakes are to die for. Washed down with a glass or two of Prosecco it's a great way to spend a few hours! Highly recommend!
Took my husband out to try the Romanian platter and he was not disappointed, especially on tasting the Sibiu salami which is from his home county! Staff kindly accommodated my request for half veggie platter and it was all excellent. Nice atmosphere, great music - highly recommend
Very friendly staff who have excellent customer service skills. The food is delicious and I highly recommend the tiramisu latte. The best bistro and coffee house in Ilkley.
Wonderful little find! Great place for a spot of lunch and a really interesting menu. Staff are great, really attentive and the cakes are to die for!! Don't normally have pudding but I simply couldn't resist! Dog friendly too which is a bonus if you are out in Ilkley walking your furry friend . Highly Recommend!!

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Daniels this morning with my toddler who adored his egg and sweet potato kids meal. He devoured the lot. The food here is delicious!

We were returning to another cafe we liked once but it looked pretty full. We saw Daniel's cafe, which I'd never noticed before, and thought we'd give it a go. Really glad we did, and I'd go back there in preference now. We loved the retro hip atmosphere and the decor and tiling is just great. We had breakfast and it was very, very nice indeed. And great coffee!

Visited here for dinner last night with friends. It has a fabulous back story and the menu gives a real taste of Romania and some other excellent choices. We opted for the sharing platters and weren't disappointed. What a fabulous find.

Came for brunch with my mum and we were not disappointed! Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. My mum had the full stack and I had the veggie breakfast. Both were well presented, delicious and very filling! The coffee is also fantastic. Lovely decor, well spaced and very clean. We took some cakes with us for later and they were heavenly! Can’t wait to come back!
My partner and I visited this lovely place on Sunday. He had a nutri bowl and I had avocado toast. They were both really good. Loved the idea in the bathroom with the black board, it was a nice surprise. The cafe itself looks gorgeous and unique. Prices are good too and service was excellent. Popped in for a coffee yesterday and found a tasty menu and welcoming environs, so decided to stay for a bite to eat.
The team were clearly struggling a little under the demands of a relatively busy Sunday afternoon ont' Moor, but they were friendly and unblinkingly accommodating, even when I ordered from the breakfast menu (porridge addict).
The food ordered was great - both deliciously flavoursome and generously portioned. It was good value too. Worth the wait. I would go back without hesitation and happily support this young team building a fab, independent cafe.
The downside? The coffee wasn't great. Nowadays, and increasingly an important aspect of any menu. The milk was scalded and the coffee extracted too long. Any good micro-roaster would not only supply exquisite beans, but tutor the staff on how to get the best out of them. And this staff team? They're sure to listen and learn, because they're clearly passionate about making this business a great success.
Team Daniel's. How about trying Rinaldo's Coffee. Passionate roaster with excellent barista training skills...
Popped in for sustenance. Warm welcome. Lovely salmon/cream bagel and cheesecake with plum crumble. Had mint lemonade and cafe Americano. Very smiley people and nice vibe. Liked the family back story on the menu. Good luck..felt like a really friendly place with great food and service.
Lovely food - we both had the Daniel's breakfast which was very tasty. It was filling but lighter than a full English and nice to have something a bit different. Excellent customer service and good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Our favourite coffee shop! They always have an excellent coffee that comes in a lovely mug, wide range of homemade cakes which are always changing and the loveliest staff ever! If you want a coffee in Ilkley, you have to pop in here :)
Best cafe in ilkley in my opinion. Such friendly and accommodating staff, food is always delicious and menu is changed regularly so there is always something new and delicious to try. Cakes are all homemade and really tasty.

Had a Daniel Shareing platter whilst waiting for the cinema and it was superb. Highly recommend it - bread was superb and washed down with a jug of iced water.
An enjoyable place to sit for brunch or lunch, cool decor, an interesting menu without being too weird, tasty food - the croque was delicious.
