Great independent burger 🍔 place.
The burgers are very tasty and better than any chain.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.
A great addition to Ilkeston.
Go support these guys they are well worth a visit.

Really nice burgers, however they missed a couple of things from our order
Best burgers for 10 to 20 miles. There are a lot of "gourmet and hand made burger" shops popping up but this place is the best by far. Home made skin on fries. Proper smashed patties that are juicy, cracked at the edges and slightly crisp(caramelised)in all the right places. When you're in the shop you will see the pride and love that goes in to these burgers. If you've never tried this place and even live from further away you won't regret trying this place.

Had a burger for the first time a week ago will never go anywhere else! Amazing quality and superb value for money! Kids meals are £4.95 more filling than any McDonald’s and much better quality! People on here saying the burgers are thin, they are smash burgers!! so are supposed to be thin! I love the fact that the buns are also thin nothing worse that too much bread with a burger. So much flavour lots of variety

Photo doesn't do this place justice, the food is exceptional! Really tasty burger and great lunchtime deal. Only thing that could do better is more selections for the deal.

Every time we've ordered it's been perfect. I can't fault it one little bit I must have ordered 5 times in the past month and every time feels like the 1st.

Spot on with there quality of burgers each & every time. Always coming up with new specials, along side there regular variety of burgers. Easily the best place for burgers in Ilkeston & the surrounding area.

Absolutely blown away by the burger I had today. as good as I've ever had. Tender, juicy and with really nice sauce and salad that made it top notch. Fantastic collection service. Friendly guys running it Just fantastic.
Only thing I'll do next time is ask for a bit less salt on the chips, as they were on mcds level of salt. Just a preference thing.

Oh my gosh! 3rd time ordering from Jays last night. Absolutely beautiful food. Could not complain at all. We are vegeterian and we love our meals every time! Contemplating ordering again tonight as the food was that gorgeous last night! Thanks so much Jays - you can tell you are passionate about the food you cook and this comes through with the flavours!

I had my heart set on Subway this evening but they closed 3 hours early. That's how I ended up at Jay's and so glad I did. Won't be going to Subway again. Jays' bacon cheeseburger was fantastic and the service was lovely.

Oh my god. I have no words for how flipping delicious our meals were! Huge portions, incredibly tasty fries and sides and possibly the best burger I have ever eaten (and I'm a five guys fan). Just wow. Amazing service and massively recommended! Hope you keep going from strength to strength!
