There are fish and chip shops and then there is Johnny's. Simply the best in Ilkeston. Whether you are after fish and chips or a kebab then johnny's is the place to visit can not be beaten. Always freshly cooked with friendly staff. There is large selection to choice from
Without a doubt this is the best Fish and chips for miles. We travel miles to choose fresh takeaway from here. It's always busy, the staff are always polite and efficient and I just LOVE the fish. So much to choose from on the menu, Chips are always delicious and certainly fresh.
Great service. The food was awesome. Couldn't finish it, soooo much. Great value for money. Best Friday chippy I've had for as long as I can remember.
I always enjoy my kebabs from this place, but tonight I fancied something lighter. I decided to have a chicken burger instead. It came in a really nice cob, with all the salad and mayo. It was far better than anything the big restaurants would throw at you. Great price and friendly service too.
Great selection of chip shop food for all; chips/fish/sausages/burgers/kebabs etc. Service was good for a busy Friday night. Food quality was average

Lovely fish (good size & white inside), freshly cooked, good chip portions. I can recommend the Kebabs, jumbo sausages & the battered mushrooms.
Excellent value for money. A large kebab meat and chips will feed a family of four.
Best chippy in Ilkeston all ways use it when working in the area, the family that run the place are all ways nice and friendly the chips are very good, but best of all ate there home made onion rings mmmmm, not much Park though on the main road,
The food is really good , tried their battered mushrooms , oh my goodness , they was huge , but tasted so nice , I couldn't finish my them off , to many , the staff was brilliant , I look forward to going there again for food

Decent food, extremely long wait for it though, if you’re in a hurry I would give it a miss.
Brilliant... Seems to be run by a very friendly family, and the food was piping hot and delicious. Can reccomend and we will be back
