Tastiest caramel latte I've had for ages! Nice cafe in the centre of Ilkeston with polite, attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

Really loved our first visit here yesterday. The staff were all friendly and helpful, my daughter trapped her finger in the door on the way in and they helped me get a "cold compress" for her and gave her a lollipop. The coffee was amazing, the best I've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning.

Great coffee! Couldn't sit in & enjoy the whole experience as I had 10 minutes before my bus was due to get me to the hospital but certainly will do in the near future. Nice to see a friendly face from my usual coffee haunt!

This morning was my first time ordering food. I chose the breakfast, unfortunately they didn’t have any sausages, but that was fine. When the breakfast came it was presented well, it would of probably been better on a larger plate, however all food was cooked reasonably well. It would be nice if they included hash-browns but that’s my personal preference. I also had a flat white which has a nice strong smooth taste. Pleasant staff, & very easily accessible for people using the local bus.

Once sat, looked at the menu, and my table looked the same. Buttermilk pancakes scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, tortilla chips, guacamole and veggie bowl with chicken. People were talking to each other about the food they ordered. It's hard to choice. The pancakes were fluffy and light. Healthier versions are available. That's how amazing they are.

Absolutely love this place!! The service is great, the food is delicious, and the location is perfect if your wating for a bus on a rainy day or if you've been around the market and you fancy a tea or coffee. I've come here with my friend to do some work too. Would recommend this place 5*

Nice new coffee shop in the main market place of Ilkeston. The decor is trendy and the facilities are new and clean. There is a disabled and a unisex toilet on site and there is table service from very friendly staff. Prices are equal to other drink and eats outlets in town. Very handy if waiting for buses

Nice and spacious. Very nice drinks - milkshakes were delicious. Hand dryer in toilet didn't work, had to use one in baby change.

Love going to this coffee shop. The decor and atmosphere are modern and relaxing. Plenty of comfortable seats. Drink selection is good, and I've never had a bad drink. I usually always go for coffee based drinks, but the chai latte here is absolutely amazing. I'll be back for more!

This is a lovely cafe on the ground floor and at the main entrance of what used to be the co-op department store on Ilkeston Market Square. We were lucky enough to be there for the '2-4pm £1 toasted teacake or scone with your drink' offer, and all was very nice with plenty of butter too! The place is smart and attractive, highly recommended.

Echo most of the previous reviews. Lovely cafe, in a great location. (Top of town, accessible for all the shops and market, and with most of the buses stopping straight outside.) Its always looked popular, so when we went to go in midmorning on a Saturday we half expected to either be crammed in, or not find space for our buggy. Luckily once inside its very open and spacious, they've resisted the urge to cram as many tables in as possible, so although there was only a 2 seater table free, we easily managed to pull up another seat, and slide the buggy in while leaving plenty of room all round for people to get past unrestricted. I hate being crammed in, and I hate feeling like we're in people's way, so this was a huge positive and allowed us to relax. The menu didn't have a huge selection, but there was enough to provide a choice for most people, with a couple of specials, which providing they change pretty frequently should stop repeat visitors getting bored. One recommendation I would suggest, that should be easy to implement is perhaps provide the option of baguettes to go alongside the bacon/sausage cobs etc, to appease people like me with bigger appetites! The place was really clean, the wait to get served, and get our food and drinks was minimal. The prices were very reasonable, but most importantly the food was delicious, seemed to be well cooked and of good quality ingredients. A simple breakfast cob can so easily go from delicious to dire just by weather or not the cafe is willing to spend a little extra on better quality ingredients. The staff we all lovely too, especially the young lady who brought out food to us, who seemed to genuinely make a fuss of the kiddies. We definitely intend to make it a regular little trip before we do our shopping, alternating with another nice cafe we found at the other end of town. And we love the fact it isn't a chain either, feels like you're really supporting a local business.
