A lovely canalside pub on the edge of a build-up area. Nice inside, lovely outside, with a large garden and seating beside the canal. Good selection of beers and a very nice menu. Furthermore, a very good specials board, including Sea bass mash and smoked salmon fish cakes. Can't fault them on anyth
Nice little pub on the canal. Large beer garden and play area for young children. Lots of entertainment / open mic nights as well as having a very tasty menue including Sunday lunch.
Its a canal side country pub. A little spit & sawdust but does surprisingly good food since new ownership early 2017. Muddy boots & dogs are welcome in the small barside tap room which is always a good thing .

Nice pub. Lovely food, but usually a bit of a wait, offset by the fact that the food is freshly cooked when it arrives. Very nice, helpful staff.
A gem of a find. The staff were so friendly and accommodating freshly cooked food and good size portions, lovely ales. Walks along the canal and woods we will definitely return.

Great pub with mainly very nice clientele. I only drink soda water these days which is the most expensive of all the pubs I visit.
