Parking next to fuel station and shop but not many places.
Fish is cooked fresh so obviously have to wait a little, but worth it. Price increasing for size of fish, but is so everywhere.

Went at 5pm tonight and ordered £20 worth of food for me, my wife and my 3 kids. Excellent service, polite staff and the food was exceptional, we ate it all, even my kids finished all theirs which is a feat in itself.

Good news is they accept cash! In all honesty this place ain't bad. The chips arent the best but you can eat them fine aswell as the battered sausage. Not too bad at all! Bit pricey though for what it is as I paid £4.25 expected to be around £3.25. Never the less I would visit again.
Very tasty food and staff are very friendly. I'm from Kent, but my daughter lives in the Ilkeston area. So far my experience of the local takeaways, hasn't been great, but Captain Kirks was terrific....."Beam me up Scotty, I'll be back!"
Nothing compares to the fish here! So full of flavour and golden. But the chips on the other hand are next to tasteless. The gravy is very runny but I guess that's how most people like it now a days.
On the up side the place is spotless! I've never seen a cleaner chippy in my life and its obvious that the owner takes pride of the shop.
Since been living in Ilkeston the past few years, have used this fish and chips establishment on many occasions and it never fails to deliver top quality food. Very friendly welcome. Much recommended.
Had haddock and a piece of cod with small chips. The Food was delicious and freshly cooked. Excellent service. Tonight had a kabab and again was fantastic and excellent service. Will always go there when next in Area.

I have tried multiple food choices from here and I have loved everything I have had. I would recommend the chicken burger and chips, or the freshly cooked fish and chips! I also love how no oils or batters are mixed so it is gluten free and vegetarian friendly.
Quality fish and chips served by polite staff and at low prices, plus ultra clean premises in a modern minimalist style decor . There are ample free parking spaces for your vehicle , but it can get busy at tea time as it has a very good reputation for quality of food and quick service and at prices to match , the ideal stop for a chippy tea to take home . Highly recommended by locals and visitors alike .
