Only just found this place and my visit was excellent. From the bus stop it is not clear it's a Cafe but viewed from another direction it's clear. The food is well cooked and of a brilliant price. It's not a big place but there is plenty of room for indoor seating. There is a varied menu and rival's easily, Tesco around the corner for quality and price. Well done everyone, my wife and I will come here again. You need a big sign outside so people can see it's a Cafe from the bus stop

Had a brilliant vegan pie and mash. Didn't expect to have a choice of Vegan meals in a little cafe like this! Also, good value and great service. Will definitely come here again.

By far the best café in Ilkeston. For quick, tasty food on the go... Cooked exactly as specified and lots of choice it's defo a regular for us. Ladies who work there are welcoming. Nice little place .

Fantastic little cafe. I had a cracking Full English and there was an equally awesome vegan version for my partner. They even went out and sourced oat milk for her tea. Why can't all cafes be like this?! 10/10
Good, home cooked breakfast. Everything was hot, good value for money and friendly staff.
My favourite place for a substantial meal, mainly breakfast in my case. Always a warm welcome, and always excellent value. Gordon, the proprietor gets in quality ingredients from the local area, which are cooked to perfection. It's a pleasure to eat here.

Best cafe in ilson!!!! The price has gone up a little since the new ownership but the quality is much improved, Who wants to eat Gordens 5p sausages??? no one!! The food is much better nowadays, keep up the good work guys.
