Went here tonight with my girlfriend for her birthday. The service was excellent, really friendly and attentive - it was extremely hot today and he made sure we were comfortable at our table. The food and drink were served quickly and with a smile and the food was all delicious. Highly recommended -
Absolutely amazing food, full of flavors without the greasy aftertaste. Well worth a visit.
To start was the tandori panier and the fish amritsari, genuinely great taste the food was piping hot and didn't taste like it was pre-made.

Popped in as an ambulance crew in the area for our lunch break. Phoned ahead to order and when we got there, food was ready for us, hot, fresh and very much delicious. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us.

Ilkeston is lucky, for a small, unspectacular town in Derbyshire it has a couple of really good Indian restaurants where you can get a great meal. But Jhakhas is in a league of its own.

Our first time here and had a really nice evening, the food is very authentic and the staff, extremely friendly, very reasonably priced menu. We’ll definitely come again.
