In my experience, it is somewhat of a challenge to savour quality Indian cuisine outside of London. However, this establishment is a real jewel in the crown of the southwest and probably the best Indian restaurant in Ilfracombe. I ordered the Papadums with the Chutney tray. These were just perfect:
Visited twice during our week in Ilfracombe and we really enjoyed our meals on both occasions.
The restaurant is large and on our visits was very quiet (despite other restaurants we visited being very busy during the week), therefore it did feel a little intimidating at times, being one of only two
Best Indian food we’ve ever had, the portions are big and very tasty. The staff are such lovely people and very welcoming.

We really enjoy eating here. It's clean. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. I love the Honey pot chicken and the sag aloo. My husband had the mixed shaslik and onion fried rice which he said was delicious too.

Unassuming from the outside, my partner and I chose to eat here on a recommendation as we were only staying in Ilfracombe for one night….
My partner chose 3 vegetarian options and having eaten in thousands of restaurants on several continents was certain in declaring it was the best Indian food she
Great Indian with really fresh tasting food, not greasy at all and fantastic flavours! Really welcoming and friendly staff who were lovely either my little one. Definitely the best Indian in the area, by a mile!
Nice curry hear. I went with a friend and both enjoyed our curry. Lots of choice on the menu , drinks reasonably priced. Pool of allergens are well catered for as menu clearly explains what item contains what. Decor is a little dated but overall a good meal out. Would recommend
Ordered a takeaway whilst away on hols for all 8 of us. Gentleman was lovely on the phone and the food arrived half an hour later by another lovely man. The food was fantastic and hot. Would highly recommend.
Amazing Indian resturant that I would highly recommend. There was a bit of a wait for our table as they were insanely busy, I would advise booking before hand as they were completely booked out. But once we were sat down the staff were lovely and attentive.

The best thing about the Tandoori is they cater for the veggies, most dishes can be made vegetarian which is great.

Possibly the nicest Lamb Balti I've ever eaten!
They catered easily for 11 of us, and were friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be booking a table next time I'm in Ilfracombe.
