We didn't have food as it was late evening. Very nice and friendly staff and nice social pub. We had gone there as a group with some of the locals as we were in Ilfracombe down from the west midlands to play against the Ilfracombe table tennis club

What's not to like.
I went to watch the Women's World Cup Final. The staff put a great effort in with swift service and face painting. Loads of different spaces to watch the game. Sadly, they were let down by their caterers at the last minute, so no food. I'll go back when I'm next in Ilfracombe.
Went in for drinks (reasonably priced) and to watch football on TNT (loads of TV's, big screen and all the channels).
Friendly staff and cheap drinks, a win would have been 5 stars 🙈😂
Cracking old style pub, with various different rooms and snugs, plus a beer garden with a view.
Great prices for beer and served by friendly staff.
A choice of two or more real ales plus the standard range to suit casual drinkers.

We came here twice now and both times the food has been tasty. Lovely roof top seating area. Only problem is waiting times for food was a little to long.
As good as a pub gets good hosting friendly staff good beer and duck racing on a friday night well worth a visit
Had a great evening in The Wellie! Sport and live music 😍 The bar staff were fantastic and the locals were welcoming and friendly! We will be back 🙂
