I came for a week to Ilfracombe for a holiday with my family. Was excited to know there’s Chinese food in town! Did not disappoint. Came with the family and had a feast.
They open three times a week so we were lucky to be in town the days they were open. So the next day they were open, we called in
The food is just so great. The duck noodles, nasi goreng and pork ribs are to die for. I am asian so i know when a chinese takeway good or bad. This is awesome. So far the best chinese i’ve ever tried in England.
Excellent service, friendly staff and wonderful food. Will be returning again hopefully soon.
Lovely, well cooked food that was full of flavour and a friendly atmosphere too. Recommended.
We rang at 1800 for a table for three at 1900. No problem. On time arrival restaurant half full. Helpful cheerful and capable waiting staff. Three starter courses, three main courses with rice, three bottles of beer. Kung Pao pork really tasty and hot. Automatic 1/4 duck good. £75 all in. Recommende

Very quirky restaurant . Only opened 3 days a week with strange hours and customer service where they are doing you a favour . Not even sure if any Chinese people are involved here but despite this the food is excellent and all seemed very fresh . Would definitely come back again .
Had a night away and three of us booked a table for early evening last night.
The hospitality and food was totally above and beyond any expectation I had.

We came to Ilfracombe for a weekend away by the time we arrived it was dinner so walked along the road looking for somewhere to eat. Found Emperors Court, food was amazing staff so helpful and knowledgeable helping us decide what to order. Highly recommend wish we lived nearer!

Here on holiday with my fiancé for the week, so glad I chose Emperors Court for which turned out to be ‘The Best’! Chinese takeaway I’ve ever had, very polite and helpful front of house staff, great tasty food, plenty per portion and complete value for money!! Would highly recommend 👍👍👍
Just had an amazing takeaway from the Emperors Court, which is equally as good quality as eating in their restaurant. We have eaten in many Chinese/Cantonese restaurants and the Emperor’s Court is up there with the best. Really fresh quality ingredients and service with a smile. Would not hesitat

Nice welcome as I entered, tables looked clean and presentable, food collection was easy but Food was little late despite being ordered an hour in advance. Food was nice, defiantly get what you pay for in quality, not quantity. Enjoyed and family happy.
