Scones were heated and we could see by the freezer in front of the counter that they were frozen and warmed up to serve. The taste of them was great though despite them being brought in locally instead of freshly baked. Servers worked so hard to keep on top of a really busy lunch/tea time a couple of rude customers didn't waver their level of service to us and would happily return there for another drink. Room for improvement in the layout of the kitchen/eating area.

A friendly local teahouse with a delicious Devon cream tea and beautiful garden. Dog friendly! Plenty of effort being put into keeping everything clean.

Quick and efficient. Perfect for a snack type of lunch. Staff were amazing given that it was rammed.

Lovely little tea room with a delicious cream tea. We ended up visiting twice over the bank holiday weekend. Staff were lovely (in particular the young dark haired team member who’s name I didn’t catch who worked on Saturday!). 100% will be back in the future.

Unfortunately, slightly less food for your money than our trips previously. We've been coming here for years, so the drop in scone size was quite evident. Still, nice staff and some undercover outside seating so you can bring your dog. Revisit August 2022. Nice lunch, lovely service

This a gorgeous classic British tea room. The hosts are amazing and so friendly and welcoming. The food is classic original British food without the fancy trimmings, but it's served with love. So nice to find a well made sandwich, cream tea or classic lunch. The milkshakes are pretty good too!

Food here is always good. We wait at the door for this place to open, even though other places are open and already accepting customers. With Covid restrictions, the waitress gets a little rushed having to do all tables by herself but she seems to be handling it like a champion.
