I rang late on a Saturday evening after being letdown badly by another restaurant. The lovely lass on the phone couldn't have been more careing and polite.

Absolutely incredible place. Great food, super accomodating to us booking a table for ten at short notice and went above and beyond to make sure that everyone was comfortable in our variously neurodivergent party and even to spend ages at the end helping us to divvy up the bill. Absolutely no hesita
We went for Sunday dinner. Absolutely beautiful food, the beef melted in our mouths!. The ladies who served us were lovely and friendly and even gave us recommendations for other places to eat, whilst we are here. Will definitely return. Thankyou
We visited The Thatched Inn this week for the first time. A beautiful little pub with gorgeous gardens in which to have a drink or two. The building itself is beautiful and bust be steeped in history. There were several local draft beers, cidre and a couple of lagers on tap to choose from. There is food available but we didnt sample any on this occasion.

As a vacationer it is granted that I have limited resource for comparison but this is an absolutely fantastic spot for drinks or food. We had sunday lunch and the portions were massive! Food was excellent and I can genuinely say we had some of the best service we've ever had in Britain.
Stopped here for a drink, incredibly quaint. Service through a hatch to the beer garden on a hot day. Inside it’s magnificent wood panelling and am open fire. Would be a great local.
Great pub atmosphere, real ales kept well, good choice of wines. Service with a smile. To top it all the food was fabulous, especially the fresh fish dishes

It was lovely and very welcoming, we ordered lobster...we were told it just arrived an hour earlier, well they didn't lie!! It was fresh and absolutely gorgeous!If wanted to be super picky we could have done with the "correct" cutlery for the lobster but not a big deal ...we managed, fought and won
Lovely building with outdoor seating (although only a few are covered from rain. Slow cooked meat is their speciality and they do it really well. Dogs not allowed inside but ok outside.
Our first visit having just moved to the area. Wow. 4 meals (1 kids) all perfect. Great staff and lovely ambience. We will be VERY regulars going forward. Tx team.
