Perfect meal. A warm, friendly welcome and a lovely decorated restaurant with a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The menu offers a good selection of dishes and the food on our visit was cooked to perfection and lovingly presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would advise booking in advance, as during our week in Ilfracombe this restaurant was fully booked on the evenings it opens.

What a fantastic little restaurant. Limited capacity and concise menu, but its none the worse for it. The food is nothing short of outstanding for the price they charge. If they were to sell their chips wrapped in newspaper out of the door there would be a queue right down the street and riund the harbour. Each of the dishes we tried were well portioned and cooked perfectly. If you can get a booking you will not be dissapointed. Well done to everyone that works there. The place is a true gem.

Dinner for 4 on 1 Aug. Nice and cosy small restaurant which can sit about 16. We had clam chowder, fish cakes and mussels au gratin to start. Lamb chops and pan-fried hake with potted shrimp for mains. Food and service were excellent and good portions. Wish we had space for dessert but sadly not. Excellent dinner place.

We had a meal here for our wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in Ilfracombe, it's tucked away along Fore Street, a lovely intimate bistro to dine in for a special occasion, the food was fabulous so tasty & well presented, very good service, nice ambience and according to my hubbie the cheese board he'd ever had - make sure you book in advance as it's very popular!

This is a quaint little restaurant that serves a small very reasonable menu of quality food. My personal experience was a rather sandy razor clam, my only issue with the chowder and everything else was excellent. The service charge is a tad excessive and due to the intimacy of the venue one feels unable to challenge or rejected said charge.

Excellent food and good service, The cheese board was disappointment but didn't detract from what was a very enjoyable experience. We will be eating there again.
