Very good quality and reasonably priced food, portion sizes were fairly generous. Visited with my family, service staff were attentive and helpful. Traditional look and feel to the restaurant.
First time here. We had a nice variety of dishes. Channa chat, lamb jalfrezi, bindhi masala and chilli naan.
All I can Sat is how have we not been here before. The food is seasoned to perfection. Taste is spot on. Pretty close to authentic with a nice little twist.
Nouman was our main server. He was chatty with good advice. The restaurant was pretty full with loads of families. A sure sign they are getting lots of things right. In fact with the variety of food coming out there can't be much wrong.
A treasure on Ilford Lane.
Back again. Served by junaid. Would love to tell you what we ate, but, the names escape me. We had a mixture of meat and veg and it was all stunning. Lamb jalfrezi, peshwari naan, a chick pea dish which was amazing. A starter which we saw come out. A glass with a liquid in and a fried pastry? Topping with a filling. No idea what it was, but, was a mouthful of wildly different textures and taste to follow. . Again, pretty full with locals. Will definitely be back and will try more different dishes.
A gem not to be missed
Staying in east London by whitechapel and after being disappointed by food around us decided to go to Ilford lane and walk the whole street and based on online reviews and look from the outside we decided to give it a try and it was worth it , All the food is cooked fresh to order , Chicken Seekh kabab and Chicken Butt Karhi was the best and it reminded me Lahore food , please try both of these and you will love it , Staff/ Service and atmosphere was also great.
