I love it there, sometime you have to wait a bit but it’s all worth the waiting when you tuck into the sweetened fish balls. The main reason for me venturing is the breads all be it bagels, platzels to Black Rye bread
As a regular patron of the goodies on offer at Shalom, I feel with confidence that I can say it is easily one of (if not THE) best delis and bakeries in London - move over brick lane!

It's small but beautiful and well organized setup. As soon as you enter, a nice smell welcome you and then the smiling faces of the staff. Tried many items, all were so fresh and tasty, highly appreciated and recommend others to give a try.
Best bagels I've come across so far in London and Essex! Every filling is nice and the place is certainly popular. It doesn't just sell bagels there is plenty of other products to try out!!!
I've been going here since I was in my twenties, the food is fantastic, because of the popularity of the place it's a bit rushed but the food more than makes up for it

There are so many delicious sweet and savory offerings that you will be spoilt for choice.
Thankfully, you get 1 hour free parking outside the bakery so that you can take your time sampling fresh items from their bakery.
I went in to buy some salt-beef and rye bread for my Mum's birthday lunch. Everything was lovely. The shop is just as I remember it from my boyhood.

Great bagels, not too chewy, just perfect. Smoked salmon was delicious and divine. My partner loves the cheese cake here. Must visit bagel shop in East end.
Love the salt beef and salmon / cheese bagels from here. Lots of options to choose from for your bagel fillings. All breads and pastry deserts made on site and all fresh. There is a large selection of deserts cakes, pastries and biscuits. This place is definitely worth a visit.
