Went to Five Lads in the late evening around 10pm of which there were a few other families there too to our surprise! Even though it would close at 11pm. We ordered the loaded box of which we weren’t disappointed, the burgers were nice and fresh and had a high quality feel to them. The loaded box also came with a drink and side of choice, all for £9.99 which is pretty decent too. Will definitely recommend coming here if you’re in the area and feel peckish and it will certainly fill you up.
This brand new Rasher smash burger has to be one of the best smash burgers I’ve had. In terms of the appearance , the burger was beautiful. Taste wise, the soft elegant buns really complimented the 2 beef patties. And the house sauce they have is superb. Really good overall burger. The staff was also amazing. Each and every one of them.
Just popped in here for lunch before going to my next site. I was recommended the new smashed burger with turkey bacon. Absolutely banging! The patties were nice and thin making it super tasty and well cooked. Will be coming here again. Great value for the quality. Well done lads!
The food, especially the Chicken Fillet Burger and the new Smash Rasher Burger, was tasty. While the wings didn't quite hit the spot for me, my friends liked them, so it's probably just personal preference.
Also, big thanks to Aminah for being patient and providing excellent service, especially since we had a large group of more than 20 people. The staff's accommodating attitude made your meal even better. All in all, it was a fantastic dining experience.

Last weekend, we popped over with the kids to Five Lads for lunch. When I used to go to my younger sister’s house, we used to ALWAYS order their food without fail. This was our first experience of dining in. If you want good food that is value for money for the entire family, this is one of the places to visit!

We visited the Goodmayes Branch and received a very warm welcome. The food came out promptly! The Five Lad’s Special came with: 4 Wings, 1/2 Chicken, Chicken Leg Burger, Gourmet Beef Burger, two sides and a large drink for only £29.99! I haven’t had their food for a while and I genuinely forgot how much I LOVE their chicken and chicken wings. They’re so succulent and every bite is infused with intense flavours (I chose extra hot).
The Chicken Leg burger was juicy and very tasty!
The Milkcakes were splendid! I could have eaten another 2, they’re so light/airy and exactly how milkcakes should be.
Overall, a great family friendly place to add to your list!
Just ordered from here for the first time, was extremely impressed with the quality and flavour of my meal (loaded box). The chicken tasted fresh and was hot, the fries were crispy and not greasy, the food was delivered quickly and packaged very nicely. Felt like a much healthier meal than some of the overly processed and fried stuff you’d expect from a takeaway. Great prices also. Overall, I a fantastic experience and really enjoyed my food! Thank you. I’ll definitely be returning in future (love the name of this restaurant too lol)
I usually do not write reviews. But I have to say, five lads is one of the nicest places to eat in East London. Me and my mate ordered rasher smash burger. Amazingly, cooked. I would like to say a huge thank you to, the hostess and adnan (chef) for their magnificent service!
Lemon and lime wings tasted so fresh- the sauce yum. Chicken burger and chips tasty.
I have visited this place on 3 occasions. The standard of the food has been excellent, service has been exceptional. A family friendly place as we are a family of 5 (3 young kids). Price is average/reasonable. A special mention to Maisha who has provided us with an exceptional service from the moment we walked in. If you do visit, then reach out to her as she is very attentive, smiley and polite.
Had lamb chops and Peri chips with banana milkshake, the entire meal was SPOT ON also the service from Amina was also wonderful, she constantly checked on the customers and made sure we had a good time.
My girlfriend had barbecue chicken with coleslaw and strawberry milkshake, and again, SPOT ON

This place by far has to be the best grill in town. I’ve ordered takeaways and have dined in the shop many times, and have always found that the food is fresh, well priced and delicious. Make sure to order a milkshake when you go, better than the local dessert spots around!
They typically have good promotions through different channels, like Uber eats and when I dine in, it’s always super clean and a lovely place to dine in with the family. The service is exceptional! I would definitely recommend this place if you’ve not tried it yet!
Ordered takeaway (two loaded boxes) Very lovely staff. Food was excellent. Chicken strips are better than the wings imo. Steak chips are decent. The burgers are perfectly packed and label and are full of taste.
I love this place especially due to the new smash burger it was so exquisite and bursting with flavour. I particularly liked one young man working at the front who had great customer service and amazing social skills. I saw how hardworking he was and I would come back just to receive that kind of customer service again

Highly recommend!! Great quality food that tastes amazing and amazing customer service. The employee serving me was called amaan, he made sure he check up on me and my family and was extremely friendly.
