Tasty is a sensational Nigerian-African restaurant offering African dishes from Nigerian to Ghanaian delicacies.
Any west African dish that you can think of is done to taste, from jollof-rice, fried-rice, coconut-rice to amala, pounded yam and ewedu or egusi soup, you will find the food that meets your taste.
As a pounded yam lover, I enjoyed the pounded yam with vegetable soup and assorted fish, crayfish and diced beef.
The aroma of the meals alone is enough to trigger a ravenous appetite that is guaranteed to make you overly satisfied for the day. I would suggest Tasty for those seeking different delicacies from west Africa at any day.
Tasty African food Barking has been my regular go to restaurant when it comes to Nigerian cuisines. The food is food and affordable. The staffs are very nice and courteous and will will do everything to satisfy your needs. There is no sit in or dining area in the restaurant, so you either order online and get it delivered to your address or come into the restaurant to order on site(quite cheaper than online order). Overall, I give them a good rating, however there is room for improvement
African food readily served.
Their puff puff is awesome.
Ordered today for first time, we had jollof rice with chicken and the Nigerian Fanta all delicious the portion very generous the Fanta bottle is huge! Absolutely loved it and will use again! Thank you 😊
So THE ONWER needs to put more staff behind the counter,2 people can't deal with the kind of queue at this venue, especially over the weekend, end of the day the paying customers wait for ages, some storm out in anger after waiting for soo long because the service is super slow which is not the staff's fault, the staff are really trying and its just soo much they can do. I'm absolutely not impressed, nah!! The owners need to sort this ASAP.
Food taste good, I enjoyed the pounded yam and efo riro.
Well made truly Good Tasty African Food..
very clean and accommodating environment
that is the basis of my rating..
now the service can become rather loaded {Barking} often
the demand and service chain becomes lopsided
a would-be customer could decide to leave without purchase
rather hungrily and unhappy.. I think the division of tasks, processes
and arrangement of the staff can be vastly improved
also there is need for store owned delivery service at considerable
affordable rates..
Well what can I say. This is the 3rd Tasty I have been to, and I will go to this one again. We went in for a meat pie and ended up have fish with jolloff rice. Shanky with kidney mix, plantain and still took meats pies home. And puff puff. The pies were so yummy.
It should have been a 5 but when they bought the fish the first time it was not heated thoroughly and had to be sent back.
But the food was so yummy
And this is someone reporting who is not from Africa
Food good
Nice 🇳🇬 Nigerian Dish. Not a place for sit in undergoing renovation

In terms of food, this place is fantastic. I almost did not miss Nigeria because I had excellent Nigerian meals here. The ofada sauce and assorted is amazing. Definitely a go to place for any lover of Nigerian meals. Maybe they can make their service faster but who cares? I'm ready to queue for good food... Lol
I used this a lot for takeaways but haven't eaten here although the recent refurbishment is nice. The food is the best in the area I feel it beat it's local rivals Squires although portion wise you're getting less in tasty all depends on what you want but quality over quantity tasty wins hands downs.
Food is great there. It can get really busy between 1-3 which is usually when I go, can be queuing for 15mins or more. People behind the counter work hard and are polite even when getting verbal abuse from inpatient customers. May get ticket if parked on the road outside so be careful.
