A good local pub very nice reasonably priced menu. Good varied beers and a great atmosphere. landlord and wife always welcoming and run a good pub.

Good beer, friendly company - both sides of the bar. Entertaining quiz Tuesday evenings 8.30pm - prompt. Can't wait for the better weather to take advantage of their beer garden.

Quiet unassuming pub with a beer garden. Actually bigger than it looks. Love their Guinness, somehow tastes better than that served in other pubs. Friendly service.
Outstanding little pub. Good choice of drinks. Some nice pub food. Pool table, tvs and a jukebox. Staff are great and make visiting a plessure. They also have a good size pub garden for the summer and free onsite parking
Amazing pub serving home cooked delicious food at reasonable prices. This place is a little gem in Ilford! I would say the best place for food in the area. Wonderful two course Sunday roast all home cooked with the most delicious puddings. Having recently moved to the area, I brought my parents here

Great little traditional pub! Beer and food is great! The beer especially always tastes fresh! Great atmosphere with a pool table, the prices are slightly steep to the usual Weatherspoons but this is a independent pub so it suffices. One of the last great 'traditional' local boozers in Ilford!
Lovely pub. Lovely staff. Has a good size beer garden behind pub. And away from the main road. Negatives: Food selection has been reduced. No puddings seen....
One of our last local pubs and deserves our support. Friendly, welcoming staff and good service. We've enjoyed Sunday roasts here and they also laid on a wonderful buffet for a celebration I had here.
