Excellent!. I went to Al Khayma last Saturday for one of my mate's bday dinner. We were a group of 17 guys. The food was great and plenty. The waiters were very fast. The place is cleverly done up. The biggest surprise of the night was the belly dancer though. We didn't know that they had entertainment there and I tell you the air stopped when she came to our table. :-D Was great to see some of my friends going shy because of her, hehe! Brilliant night! Will go again for sure!
Excellent!!! Great Place. I dined at Al Khayma last Saturday with my friends a group of 7 of us, and I must say it was a different experience. Cleverly designed and the menu was very good. Being Arabic, the food was spot on!! Well done Chef. Service was impeccable very polite. Compared to restaurants in the Ilford area, it is worth paying the extra and you do feel you are in a West End joint. As mentioned from the viewer below, I think that yes you are paying a little more, but you have to look at the service, the ambience and your travelling time to the West End!!. & is it Halal, well next time you dine, you only have to ask. Guys overall keep it up, Great Place, Great Food, Great Experience.
London Darbar. AMAZING!! FABULOUS!! celebrated my 29th birthday here! was a blast! the decorations, the food the people were all great..exceeded my expectations! Will definitely go there again :)
We went there on there opening time and we were basically the first. So gotta tell you if you want the best service and freshly cooked food go early. The food was great, im not a lebanese food fan as they tend to be a bit bland but i like to try different things. Their king prawns and wings were great, so was their mixed grill. I didnt like the roasted lamp as it was really bland. Service was top notch. Went there during eat out to help out deal so got 50% of aswell.
Really nice place to chill and grab some good food. We went at a time when there was nobody there very quiet and soft music in the background, sat next to the windows as it was summer. Food was good and tasty and our waitress was kind and helpful always looking over in case we needed anything. Drinks were nice and colourful. Nice decor đź‘Ś would recommend.
The service was very good. The food was good but wasn't the best. Nice range of flavours. The chilli sauce that comes with the bread was fantastic. Overall it was good and tasty but something was missing. Would recommend this place. Toilets were nice and clean. Music wasn't too loud. Ambience and settings were good too.
Beautiful restaurant, lovely outside space to eat, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious, keep in mind the portion size are quite big, I tend to always over order; my eyes is bigger than my stomach.
Was empty when we went. The food was tasty, good customer service and mocktails were so amazingly delicious. We ordered a grilled Haloumi starter, chicken & lamb platter and the sea food platter. This was enough for 4 hungry people.
However we stayed for shisha also and the service we received was pretty poor. There were only 2 groups, ourselves and a couple of females, the staff weren't attentive to us at all and spent most of the time trying to impress the women.
Went after a long long time and was pleasantly surprised by the ambience and food has definitely gone really good. Loved having a dinner there in a comfy Lebanese style ambience and friendly staff. Will definitely go again.
Tajine and Calamari was very very nice. Meat cooked to perfection - tender, juicy and perfectly complemented with the smoked sauce. Shawarma was pretty nice, can't go wrong. Not 5* due to food being served luke warm but we were given 3 portions of lamb and rice to compensate. Great customer service.
Brilliant food, lovely staff, cool atmosphere and good music to relax to. I would recommend this. A superb restaurant. Me and my beautiful wife, Heather, had a great time.
Best restaurant I have been to for a long time. Beautiful Lebanese cuisine! Love the ambience, decor and food deciding to none!
Nice cosy restaurant, authentic Lebanese food and amazing service, (Saad) was so nice and helpful, he made sure that I and my colleague were happy. I liked the decorations and the Lebanese songs (Fayrooz), you feel you are in Beirut for a while!
Five stars
Will definitely come back again. Thank you
If you guys happen to be end up at east London and looking for a relaxing and smooth Hookah place than don’t look further than Alkhayama lounge.
Why:
Basically they have best staff specially who make hookah for you, friendly and quick to response to your requests.
Thereafter, hookah is at its best, simply here isn’t any other hookah lounge who serves better shisha.
Give a go and you will go there again and again.
Excellent Food.. service.. especially Farhan! He is quick.. dealt with our big order swiftly and remembered all of it!! I highly recommend this place
Not many authentic Lebanese places in East London but this ones a genuine one with a good selection of food. Shisha garden also in the rear. Would recommend
Fizzy Cola Bottles ÂŁ18

Alkhayma is a Lebanese Restaurant in Cranbrook Road. We started off with food in the main restaurant which was very nice, authentic Lebanese cuisine for a fraction of the prices you would pay around central London. The shisha Lounge is separate from the restaurant, as soon as I walked in it reminded me of those Middle Eastern style lounges I’ve been to such as Shisha Garden Grill, Al Arez 2 and Deserts Rose all of which lacked in their shisha that I gave them 2 stars each. This on the other hand was different, we ordered fizzy cola bottle and this smoked very well. It was a long time since I smoked a very flavourful fizzy cola, the shisha was made to perfection with 4 coals the clouds were smooth and very very thick. We smoked over an hour and half with the flavour still pulling through. Coals used were good quality with a set lasting over an hour without breaking and hardly any ash falling off. Service here was impeccable the guys certainly know how to look after their customers. The seating was comfortable and laid out nicely, plenty of sofas and chairs. Prices are decent compared to what’s being charged now with Al Fakher at £16, Premium at £18 and Frozen at £20. Plenty of parking after 6:30 and some roads have all day free parking if you can walk a few minutes. Overall a very enjoyable visit, will definitely visit again and highly recommend anyone to visit this little gem in the ends.
Sheesha was good, drinks were tasty and looked really good!
Staff were polite and informative. I wish it was open a bit longer but I appreciate a place in Ilford like this. :)
