This is a place I have ate many many times in the past delivery or eating in but I have never done a review before so here goes.
Firstly the place inside is lovely good layout nice seating and it looks like somewhere you want to eat.
They have a wide mix of options for food and drinks so we had some sparkling water and an Effes but they have wines and a lot more.
Food we went for the Ezme Salad, Lentil Soup and some Halloumi to start and as much as I like the delivery the food eating in is so much better the lentil soup was full of flavour and the halloumi was freshly cooked and tasty. Ezme Salad is a favourite for all and if you haven't learnt yet its the salad to get when your at a Turkish resteraunt.
On the side they give you a free salad and dips which all taste home made and fresh full of flavour alongside the balloon bread (probably not its real name) but it is a winner everytime and can fill you up very quick if your not careful.
For mains we had the chicken beyti which was better then ever great kofte meat wrapped in bread with so much flavour and garlic yogurt I mean what else could anybody want. Then we had a chicken casserole that was huge but again full of flavour which is a pattern at this place.
No room for dessert but plenty of options but we did have a Turkish coffee and Turkish tea.
The big winner after all this talk about the amazing food however is the service.
We had 2 people looking after us and both were great they both cared both ensured we were happy and enjoying our food and provided the perfect service honestly the resteraunt was lucky to have both of them working there I wish I could've got there named to ensure the resteraunt knows how good they were.
So yes check it out enjoy eat food and go and eat in as its such a better experience.
Lunch offer £8.99 starter, mains and soft drink.
Food was tasty. Loved the salad with the vinaigrette, accompanied by tarama, humus & bread.
This is another Turkish Halal restaurant who serve alcohol as well.
The seating area is very big and nicely decorated.
The service wasn't great but it was also not too bad. We had to wait for a bit for the initial order. The food service time wasn't that bad. But at the end we had to wait again.
The food was alright as well. Not too great but also not too bad.
Lunch menu £8.99 for starter, main and soft drink it was excellent value good portions food was nice all flavours and spices. Ample complementary bread and salad. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and helpful. I find Turkish restaurants in London generally provide better value and food then northern Turkish restaurants. I'm a northerner.
A great value tasty food with excellent service. A place worth visiting.
Had great service here. For a Turkish spot with great competition within 1 mile, the food is prices extremely decent! So many complimentary goods including salads, sauces, breads, turkish tea etc. We did not get turkish tea but we know that would have been amazing just like the rest! First time trying a cheesy hummus, absolutely amazing! Very unique flavour and very filling. Beead was freshly served and steamed up. Salad was to die for. I feel like some turkish places can get salad wrong even though it is very simple. The rice and bulgar (you can do half and half) was sooo moist and buttery! The donner itself was pretty standard. However the lamacun was the cherry on top. Service was A1++++++++. They were very attentive. Super fast and thats why we tipped voluntarily. Thank you guys.
The price of the mix platters and the food in general have gone up significantly and the quality of the food has conversely declined somewhat over the years. The customer service is good - cannot fault it. We broke one of our fast here during Ramadan 2023 - we were given dates which was a nice touch and the food was served promptly. They also have prayer facilities, which is always a welcome sight for muslims who observe the five daily prayers.
The food is tasty compared to the other Turkish restaurants that are close by but the service needs improving.
The way the waiter was serving us and slamming things, It felt as if I was in a Greek restaurant at times and not Turkish.
With better service this place would be 5 stars. Parking available but good luck finding a spot as there are a lot of other restaurants close by.
I’m Portuguese normally liver I just eat in 🇵🇹 . But I don't eat lamb liver anywhere in London , until I found here, very well prepared, super tasty .
I’m happy with Turkish coffee. Was my favorite
First ever visit tonight and will definitely return. The staff were super-attentive, efficient and very friendly. The food was definitely amongst the best of the Turkish places we've been to. Big lahmacun, fresh grilled meats with loads of complimentary salad, sauces and piping-hot soft bread served.
This is my favorite restaurant in London.
The lamb kebab is the best one I ate so far (and I really tried a lot).
Apart from that, I was never disappointed by even a single dish. Everything is prepared freshly and with a super amazing taste.
The prices are more than fair, compared to the the amount of food you get for it.
The service is outstanding and always on point.
Apart from the food, they serve Turkish tea (which taste very good as well), as well as a lot of other drinks.
I’m regularly there and the quality is always outstanding.
If you are around Ilford, give it a try, it is worth it!
Good food with very good attentive service. The pillow bread is fantastic, baked freshly onsite and served in the evenings. The grilled onions and peppers are a fantastic addition. Served with mixed grill or extra on request. There are lovely Turkish stews also served. The restaurant is good for large groups too. They can cater for parties, must be booked though. A very good local Turkish.
This place is amazing I recommend coming here the waiters are nice and very helpful. The food is delicious and the toilets are clean useally in most restaurants toilets are either so stinky or so dirty.Great place to eat and it’s very nice and peaceful🩷
