The best restaurant in the area absolutely brilliant food, presentation, fresh and so tasty. Good wines and cocktails and the service is impeccable.
Hygiene is top level toilets super clean and staff always making sure customers are happy and nothing is too much effort for them.

Exceptionally busy when visited. Waited for a table and had drink. Food took about one hour before served. It's the first time I have waited so long to be served. Shame because it's a nice place to eat with good atmosphere
Amazing variety, amazing quality. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner offered and such fresh ingredients.
Had fresh juice which was lovely too and the shakes they offer and fantastic!

My hubby and I went for breakfast this morning. The best ever hash browns I have had, mashroom was delicious and eggs done just how I like them, and presentation was terrific. I would definitely come back again the best breakfast served in Ilford. I will be recommending to friends and family too also the atmosphere and cafe is so relaxing, nice and clean. Love it 😘
As good as I remembered, visited after 5+years as its not on my usual route anywhere now but will visit again for the food and amazing staff.

I’ve been coming to Rowans for years. It’s a great place for breakfast or brunch and to have a catch up with friends.
I actually came here for lunch on my birthday of this year.
The staff are lovely and get to know the locals and even though I do not frequent as often as some of their regulars they still remember me.
The food is very tasty too.
This is a family run cafe and me and my autistic daughter go there regularly for breakfasts and brunches.
Staff is friendly and food is great. My daughter loves spending time there.

Rowans SW is a café style establishment, which offers excellent food and exquisite coffee but so much more besides.
I have visited twice with my girlfriend, the second visit was made on the strength of the first. They have a fairly extensive menu, which caters for a range of tastes including vegetarian options. On my first visit, I chose panini with roasted vegetables, which I saw on my way in and it tasted just as good as it looked. We had a smoothie each, of which there is also a good selection and I had the most delicious coffee I have had in a very long time.
There are many tables in Rowans which, on both occasions I have visited, were largely unoccupied. The staff are friendly and attentive and the place has the feel of a family run establishment. It is smart and clean and the toilets are clean as well (a sticking point for me). It is a pleasant place to spend time.
I would have no hesitation recommending Rowans, it is a breath of fresh air amongst the usual fast food joints peppering most high streets, a nice place to spend time with the added bonus of superb coffee.
Food here is brilliant. Service is also quick and staff are great!! I would recommend trying out the egg’s benedict 😀😀😀😀

The menu choice here is the biggest I've ever seen anywhere - perhaps not in terms of how many items but in the diversity of items - Chicken/beef burgers, pizzas, omelettes, fish and chips, cold and hot sandwiches, kebabs, soups, salads, pastries
Have only been 3 times but so far everything I've tried has been very tasty
Staff have always been friendly and have greeted with a smile, been quick to check the tables are clean and ask which drinks we would like, also to bring the food and check up mid-way to make sure all is fine
Overall a great cosy café suitable for individuals, couples or small groups looking for somewhere with a light snack or full meal and you'll be well fed for £8 - £12 per person

Such delicious food! What a pleasant surprise. Big portions. We went for a quick afternoon lunch and it was just delightful! The staff were also extremely attentive. Will definitely be back!
