Lovely restuarant, lovely decor, lovely staff, and lovely food. I went there with a family group for a birthday meal. We found the staff to be very polite and service was quick and decent. Food was probably the best grilled dishes I have ever graced my stomach with. We had Cajun grilled chicken and lamb chops and they were succulent, fresh and packed with amazing flavour. Well done Sahara and keep it up. This is one of London's undiscovered culinary gems. You made our day.

The manager was so polite and kind. When bringing out the food, they forgot one egg on my brother's steak order and they swiftly cooked another. The manager was really apologetic and decided that the drinks were on the house. He is an awesome guy!! Great service and the atmosphere was great!
One of best places to eat in east london recommend all burgers and lamb chops.
A pleasant evening spent in Sahara Grill Gants Hill. The waiting staff were polite and friendly. The food was amazing, we had a full chicken with all the sides, chips, coleslaw, rice and salad. With a delicious Apple crumble with custard for dessert. The dining area was nice and clean and the service was spot on. Thanks for a lovely experience x

GREAT!!!. This is a high end restaurant which is always at it's top game everytime you go... the staff are friendly and the food is brilliant, consistant, and very very unique, there is something about the Sahara Grill taste experience that nobody has (or will, they would have done it by now!) been able to replicate, and you get the urge for that specific taste every so often and you HAVE to pop down for a meal! the food isnt cheap like a take-away, but that's because it isnt one, you can tell they spend money and pay attention to every detail themselves, even the take-away knives forks and bags are the best quality you can imagine, they have a rope going through them at the top, like you would expect to get if you bought a £150 tub of beluga caviar, i suppose it's to say that whats inside is only the best too... you feel bad throwing them away! anyway... it's my favourite all time restaurant anyway, just thought i would share that with everyone... enjoy!!!!
Brilliant food as always, and quality is always high standards. Iqbal looked after us today, and was very helpful with the selection - great service. Food came fast and was well presented.
Great tasting food. Friendly staff, welcomed with a smile. Feel portion sizes are on the small side, when compared to prices being charged.
Excellent place to have some steaks. Had the saute combo which contains 2 beef and 2 chicken steaks cut into strips with either rice or chips. Both steaks came covered with their respective sauces which made them soft, juicy and succulent. The service from the staff was also welcoming, friendly and prompt. Will definitely go again.
10/10 Sahara Wings is one of my favourite. It’s always a delight to eat as the wings have a lovely crunch to it. Not forgetting the hot spice and tanginess of the sauce 👍🏽
This is by far the best place I have been in London, always attend on special occasions and they never seem to fail. This time went on my Birthday and had the Sahara mint crush Mojito our fave and lamb steak with steak chips and came out really happy. I am always happy to pay extra at this place! First time met Waiter Iqbal who was very welcoming and polite and friendly and provided excellent service! Sahara Grill have trained their staff well 😊😊
Finger licking good steak. Tried with a fried egg and fried onions on my lamb steak with chips. Khurram, the waiter is great and gives good advice on recommending the right food to order.
We opted for the Sahara Wings and full grilled chicken with chips and rice.

Total bill including 2 soft drinks was around £44 so again 9/10.
Restaurant was clean and waiting times were 5 minutes to be seated.

He was able to give us some good suggestions on food and drinks that we should try. The lamb chops were very nice. The restaurant itself was very well looked after and clean. I haven't had a better lamb steak. Food was extremely delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite of it. This place is a must try if one is looking for fine grill food. You won't be disappointed if you have Asian taste buds. Overall service is great too and everyone is very friendly. Our waiter Iqbal was the sweetest and tried his best to make our stay pleasant.

Amazing food, 4 stars as I felt the quality of food was a bit less. Otherwise I loved this place. They have a big room for prayers as well. Wow. Would love to come back here more. In shaa Allah.
The food is delicious! The service is good. Note that this is a halal restaurant, and no alcohol is offered. We ordered double steak and salad with pita, which was more than enough for two people. Reasonable price for delicious dishes!!!
Me and my cousin went for a meal here a couple of weeks ago and were served by Abdul Wahab, from the moment we stepped in we were given the highest level of service which made such a difference on a dark rainy evening. The food was delicious and they asked us how long we wanted the wait between the starters and the mains. We weren’t made to feel rushed, which is sometimes how you end up feeling at other restaurants on a Friday night. Thank you Abdul Wahab for making it an even more lovelier evening.
We went to the Ilford branch, had to wait around 15 mins to be seated. The service was good, the seat wasn’t comfortable, they should replace the sofa or add more cushion. We ordered the mains, chicken and lamb steak. the chicken and lamb steak should have been bigger size, they should provide salad with any meal. The drinks choice was good. For the price, I believe the food should come with one extra item or increase the protein size. They don’t have much veg options.
This was our second trip with kids. I must say they have improved their service and food quality since than. Staff was friendly. Iqbal took our order and kept checking on us just in case if we need anything. He made some food recommendations for us. I have given 4 star only because it’s quite expensive. Portions size is ok. I wouldn’t order wings again as they were loaded with spices. I think there should an options to chose smaller portion of wings. We had them as we don’t like wasting food. Kids loved their meals.
