We popped in for lunch while our family member was in for an operation and right from the start, with the friendly staff we enjoyed our experience. We had the special of duck with roast potatoes and broccoli cooked in a blackberry and raspberry gravy. Oh my, it was delicious. I've never tried anythi
Lovely old Inn, hidden away in Iden Green.
Plenty of parking but it does get full quickly due to the popularity of this lovely old pub.
Friendly staff. Small and cosy inside with a nice beer garden. Dogs welcome in the garden, but not much for the kids to do, so more suitable for grown-ups. Small me
Found this place on a camper app. You can stay in their Wood surrounded car park for free if you use the Pub. Well it has been a super find. The staff are exceptional, very welcoming and friendly. A proper pub with proper beer, good coffee and a lovely garden. We had a few drinks on Saturday an
Nicely decorated Inn with friendly staff. The fish and chips was an enormous portion, and very good! My wife had a caesar salad which was equally huge and tasty.
Such a cute pub tucked away in the countryside, and open Monday lunch for food - most unusual these days. Please support them.
I had the "Tuna steak salad nicoise" which as you can see came with an enormous piece of tender tuna perfectly cooked.
The Woodcock, is a proper rural pub hidden down a small country lane. The dining area isn't huge, so on days it isn't warm and sunny you should definitely book in advance. We went on a Monday night and most of the tables were in use. The staff are friendly and personable, the food is excellent.
Very friendly people and super dog friendly as well! Stayed with my van for the night which was quiet and calm. The pub was really crowded at Friday so that means people love this place.
First visit to this lovely pub. Slight problem with our main but they rectified this quickly without any fuss. Food was delicious and the staff are a real credit. HIGHLY recommend this lovely pub .
We had a takeaway roast dinner from The Woodcock Inn yesterday. I had a mixed children's roast dinner and my partner had a beef dinner, the portion sizes were great, very good value for money and delicious. Would highly recommend The Woodcock Inn and will definitely be back!! So nice to have a treat
Had a family Birthday Sunday lunch. The roast dinners were delicious, as were the desserts. The service was great and the staff was really friendly. Highly recommended.
Wonderful pub! The staff are very attentive and the atmosphere is lovely! We had the best roast dinner and the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves too!
Perfect quintessentially English country pub. My first visit to England in nearly 2 years & the much anticipated sunday roast & local ale met & exceeded expectations. Great food, selection of ales, accomodating. Well kept inside & out. Attentive, happy staff, great location. Thank you it was wonder
Absolutely fantastic hidden gem of a pub. I phoned to book last minute and was offered a choice of times by a very friendly front of house girl who’s name I later discovered was Rachael. I explained we were taking my elderly mother and her 100 year old friend for Sunday lunch. We were greeted by Rac
Had an amazing experience here. The waiting staff were wonderful and knew the menu inside out. Very pleased with our Sunday roasts. Lots to eat and great value.
Visited while overlanding the UK with a toptent. This was our last stop before getting the ferry. Found this place through Camp4night. If you eat here they will let you stay in the carpark overnight. The carpark is closed of during the night (untill 7AM), so no problems with local youth hanging out.
Staff very friendly. Service is very good and quick. Lovely menus and atmosphere. Definitely recommend this pub.
Outstanding country pub. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Superb service from all the staff.
Lovely friendly staff, good food and menu choices
