What a great find. Used the Cask Mark app to find pubs near me that served Woodfordeโs Wherry - my favourite beer - and the Plume came up. Well, not just a fantastic pint, but really great grub. Wish this was my local!
Our Motorcycle Club Stevenage and District Motorcycle Club help its meeting here. The pub was well suited for a club meet with large car park. The buffet was very generous and they had a good selection of alcohol free beers. Dog friendly pub
Great local pub that also serves great food...
The food on a Tuesday night was hand made pizzas ยฃ10 each ๐๐ with side salad, washed down with lashings of Abbott Ale.
Thank you Paul and Hannah, and all the locals that made us feel so welcome..we will return.

A top boozer - if you like your ales as I do then this place is a good option. A lot of country pubs feel more like restaurants these days, whereas this is more of a pub. The homemade bar snacks were also quite something.
Local. Local ambience [not a trendy place] good food. Nice people. Dog friendly.
Old village pub, good selection of beer, didn't try the food. Reasonable beer garden.
The plume of feathers in Ickleford is an exceptional pub, considering it's a village pub, is the least it has to offer. From the variety of drinks to pub food. A weekly food menu, plus Paul's pizzas, are as homemade as they get. OMG, amazing. (Even I ate a whole pizza to myself). Not only can you ea
Had a lovely time at the Plume with its small but interesting garden, with its bird feeders and nesting birds. The food is home cooked and at a great price. The staff are most attentive.
Love this pub. Friendly staff, excellent food at a reasonable price
Called in for supper. Uncertain what we would find but was very pleasantly surprised. Good traditional home made pub grub served piping hot and delicious. Good value for money in a traditional village pub environment. I don't live near here but look forward to visiting again!
