Friendly staff, good choice of wine, food looked great although we didn't eat here. Well placed for lots of footpaths and bridleways. Garden backs right onto the fields, beautiful on a sunny day.
Lovely welcome & friendly service.
Food was delicious. We'll definitely be back again. Loved it for so many reasons š
Went for dinner this evening with my fiance and it was beautiful! We actually struggled to pick a main because we was torn over so many! Staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.
Beautiful pub in a beautiful village location. Great food and very friendly service and staff. We had Sunday roast which was very good. Starter of chorizo scotch egg was perfect! We did not use the Hotel accommodation.
Booked for my Dadās 79th birthday. Jenny and all the other staff were very friendly and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return . Best Sunday roast Iāve had in a long time ! Lovely pub in a beautiful village setting. Thank you š
Four of us had a very tasty lunchtime meal. We thoroughly enjoyed being at the Duke William. A pleasant atmosphere.
Well worth a visit.
Was a really lovely meal.
Went on a Sunday, so had the pork roast, but will return to try the other options for roast and everything else ..
Staff are super friendly, and service was prompt.
Nice garden with screen showing sport and the locals were watching tennis and were friendly.
Also really good value .. can't fault anything about this place ..
Regularly go to the Duke William to meet a friend for an evening meal. The food is excellent and the service is very attentive. They do not rush you like so many places. They have got the service and food spot on. Great place to meet up with friends.
Lovely, lovely country pub, full of nooks and crannies! Lovely outside eating area and pub garden situated in THE most beautiful old Kent village.
Lunch was very nice, and others were obviously enjoying all sorts from the varied menu.
My only comment would be that as far as Gluten Free is concerned - I didnāt expect toast to be served with my Ploughmanās Lunch - GF Tiger Rolls and Gf loaves of all shapes, colours and sizes are readily available in supermarkets these days - would have been be so nice to be served āproper breadā. Otherwise all good!
Ideal location which suited us perfectly. Lovely friendly and helpful Team. Room fab with lovely comfy bed and good ensuite. Pub is more gastro but has retained a traditional feel which is so often lost and supported by local people too šFood was excellent. Highly recommend if you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a bit of normality.
