Brilliant staff,good ale good food at a reasonable price. A great place to eat if you are staying at the Hythe Imperial but don't like their menu or prices...just ten minutes walk away
Lovely food sat inside was nice. and lovely sheltered garden at the back. had a pint of cider, which was lovely, on a warm day.

Second time we've been for Sunday roast and once again it did not disappoint. Lovely friendly staff and an absolute first rate roast which includes choices of lamb and beef, or you can choose mixed meat. Really reasonably priced and generous portions. Once I can move off my sofa again I'll be back!
Great restaurant food, and nothing was too much trouble for the service staff who accommodated the children's choice in food and drink. Great service with a 😊.
Amazing atmosphere the best sunday roasts in the area for the price never had any thing wrong with my food . Great selection of beers lagers and ales friendly staff and excellent service . Rahul keep up the good work
What a warm welcome & visit we had. Service was superb. Couldn't fault it. Meals were reasonable size & price. Our only criticism was that it was rather hot. Didn't seem to be any air flow so had to pop out for a bit of air with the smokers. Will definitely visit again if only to try out some of the other dishes on offer. Happy eating folks.😊
Stopped in for a meal after travelling on the tunnel. Found by chance, the food was great, full of flavour, good choice and not to expensive. Had pan fried duck for starter, rump of lamb and roast potatoes for main and finished with a portion of warm brownies and ice cream. Couldn't fault the food at all, only minor issue was felt they were understaffed
Straightforward menu - roast, but good choice of roasts or you can mix and match. Quick friendly service, if you need extra sauces - no problem. Gets quite busy so best to book a table.
Had a lamb Sunday roast delivered today. Superb food, generous portions and excellent value. Great service. We received a phone call five minutes before delivery to say our order was on the way. Would definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! I booked for a group of 32 and they were amazing. All the food was freshly cooked and it was definitely the best roast I have eaten out. The staff there are all lovely as well.

Excellent Sunday lunch at this historic Inn with great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The roasts were of good quality and there was a fine selection of vegetables and accompaniments, really good value for the high standard.
The food and service are outstanding at this pub. During a lunch service I have never been made to feel more welcome or accommodated. The 2 girls on made us all feel like we were well looked after and nothing was too much to ask. Pop in any lunch time and I'm sure you'll feel the same. We have been today (9/3/20) visit and enjoy the food and excellent service. Sea bass special with samphire was outstanding.
Excellent Sunday Lunch, good service, and very friendly. It is popular so I would advice you book and reserve your table. Parking can be difficult in there own car park but roadside parking is easily available.
