Lord Nelson - Hythe - Photo album

Had a great roast dinner at this friendly pub. Food was great and huge portions, very good value. Most importantly the staff were friendly and welcoming. Can't fault it at all. Will be going back.
Absolutely lovely place, visited here today with my aunt. Lovely atmosphere and very quirky old pub, lots of history. Had children's roast chicken, which was more than enough for a grown adult, delicious. Gravy was homemade and roasties were really crispy, veg cooked perfect and homemade Yorkshire p
We ended up in Hythe on a unintended visit. After a stroll along the pier we found the Nelson and had a lovely lunch which was good - the only downside was the constant smell of cigarette smoke blowing in from the outside.
What a great name for a Pub! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 This famous national hero deserves all the praise for what he did for our great nation. What better way the to have a pint a raise a glass! A traditional style pub with good staff, beer choices and food. Outside seating is with a nice view of Southampton Water.
Ok pub. First time visit. Good beer selection. Food was promptly served . Will go again
Nice to see a pub surviving in the old style. Great friendly atmosphere with good service (Especially if Libby is working always service with a smile and polite banter). Would have eaten there if they did food in the evening.
Love this place. Great views of Southampton Water. A proper pub. Have not tried any food here though

Delicious roast beef dinner. Friendly, helpful staff
Lovely place with lovely staff. View of the sea makes it a great place to stop and have a drink. Food also served. Live music sometimes too.
We went to this pub last Sunday for lunch and was so impressed by the meal that we went again this Sunday and took my sister. On both occasions we had the Sunday lunch and struggled to eat it all. Five different vegetables and all fresh crispy roast potatoes and loads of succulent beef and pork. G
A lovely pub for something to eat. Sit quietly in one of the 'snugs' for a drink and a chat with friends. The food was well presented and tasted very good. Thank you.
Came down yesterday for a roast dinner with my partner and son after recommendations about the roast dinner. Certainly did not disappoint. One of the best roast we have had. Will definitely return.
had the time of my life, best cocktails ive ever had
The small old bars with an historical atmosphere are well worth a look, and were full of people. A good range of traditional beers. Pity that the back bar was given over to karaoke on a Saturday night, and was empty. Maybe it gets busy later, but the whole pub used to packed and full of life. Still,
