Dog friendly cafe, owners and staff very nice and helpful, even have a dog menu. Very busy when we were there, it's not a big place so floor space for doggo can be a challenge. Food very nice, worth the visit
Beautiful gem on the high street. Warm & friendly service. Exquisite upside down Plum cake with a perfect black coffee! We ate in the cosy & cute tea garden at the rear. Dog friendly too which is a lovely surprise and will be great to remember (when we get our dog)!
Friendly staff. Very clean establishment. Had a very nice breakfast, partner had full English (already started eating before pic) I had mushrooms on toast with rocket and parmesan 😋. Lots of options for breakfast. Main menu was varied.
Cream tea was lovely, homemade scones. Sandwiches had plenty of filling. great that dogs are allowed.
Very good value for money little cafe selling home made cakes breakfast and light lunches. I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and bacon which came with a salad relish. I was unable to finish eating it as there was so much filling! This makes a change to the usual offering at other much more exp
One of the best Cafes in Hythe! Delicious food and delicious cakes. Plus they have the best smoothies for lunch.
We’re regulars at Nutmeg and for good reason - the coffee is the best on Hythe high street, the staff are friendly and always greet with a smile and the homemade cakes are delicious. Not sure why there are reviews complaining about the price, you’d pay way more for a microwaved sandwich at Costa dow
The Nutmeg Cafe is one of the nicest places to have lunch in Hythe. My husband and I have visited on several occasions - each time, the food has been excellent, and the staff have been helpful, polite and friendly. I have to follow a gluten-free diet - they adapt their sandwiches to be made with glu
Lovely fresh, great value cream tea, very nice staff. Highly recommended
Food was amazing, staff really friendly and helpful. Would visit again and highly recommend
We went for lunch on a Sunday. Friendly and helpful staff. Great atmosphere. It was busy but no excessive wait for the food which was fresh and delicious. The cafe is dog friendly and there were a couple of very well behaved dogs in there. They also do doggy ice creams! We didn't have cake but there
Had lunch, but the menu could have been a bit more explicit.
The door step bacon sandwich wasn't very thick I think I've had thicker sliced bread and the brown sauce was like water - the bacon was excellent and the other people in the party had great food. Nice cafe which allows dogs😀 Overall very nice place
