Really enjoyed our visit to this pub with our dog. Really dog friendly. Staff are friendly. You can just sit and enjoy, they don't rush you to have another drink. We would definitely recommend and would go back there if we go back to Hythe.
My family and I went for a Sunday roast which was recommended by our friends.The portions were huge,reasonably priced and hot.The staff were very attentive and helpful.Will definitely be coming back.
Very friendly staff. The pub itself is really cosy and nice. We sat in front of the fireplace, which was really enjoyable. The food was really good - The children's fish and chips were huge. Best fried fish we have had in a while. Our two year old ate the whole plate in no time.
Pizzas and burgers are very nice too.
We will come back again for sure next time we come to the area.
A returning customer to the White Hart and after an exceptionally good Sunday roast I felt compelled to write a review.
I had the mixed meat roast and it was fantastic, all meats cooked very well, a carrot purée which was velvety smooth and crackling that was simply perfect.
Highly recommend the food/service and look forward to returning again, Massive thanks to Ben and his team for welcoming my family/dogs in the bar area at short notice
The food was oh so delicious.. my nonalcoholic drink was made just the way I wanted it.. my friend's pork belly salad was excellent she said as the pork just melted in her mouth, the baja cod taco was so yum, yum, yum and the flavours so nom,nom,nom and my steak was worth it's money with those lovely chips... the best chips I've had in 12 years of living in this country.. Happy Us. Compliments to the chef and the lovely staff.
Had a really lovely Sunday roast beef here , the wife had roast chicken and it was lovely all cooked to perfection all home made plenty on the plate
Great Sunday roasts and a good burger as well as some tasty deserts, with friendly service. 1 star off for atmosphere as their otherwise excellent outdoor seating space could do with more sunshading on a scorching hot day.
Best (and huge) fish pie and delicious vegetable tempura.
Wonderful pub, food and drink was excellent. Nice avocado and poach egg on toast, with fresh salmon and garlic bread. Washed down with a lovely pint of cider.
Had a quality meal with the family, able to sit in the bar area with the dog. Tacos, pizza, fish pie and Koream chicken burgers all good. Actually, the burgers were absolutely top class. Reasonably priced and great service, will definitely be returning.

Service and atmosphere are always good. We normally have a Sunday dinner roast ...sometimes items were missing on the plate....lol..
9 of us for lunch yesterday, sitting on the lovely sun terrace. Food excellent. Loads of it and the waitress was super friendly and efficient.
Definately revisiting soon.
While staying at local B&B ‘The Beach’ for business, I found a menu and decided to walk here for my evening meal. Initial welcome was good and the waitress very friendly. I really enjoyed the whole experience. The quality of food was excellent and the burger came with fab ‘home-cooked’ chips. If I ever find myself in the area again I would definitely return to eat here!
Excellent pub, I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else in Hythe for a brunch, lunch, dinner or a drink.

I just had the most delicious fish pie , great food , great beer and a lovely smiling waitress called Darty , fantastic
10 minutes complete silence says it all when the food arrived. No complaints apart from roast spud were a bit meah. 'Fraid no one, but no one does them better than The Cheriton Bowls club ( you have to become a social member).
Anyway, the coffees were excellent and the puds sounded heaven ( 2 portion sizes available). Very satisfied. Thanks.
