Wendy & Dave are amazing. Pete's a bit of a legend and he can sing in tune, the bar is well stocked, lots of choice. The glasses are always clean, no lipstick marks, not even on the pint pots 😂. The food is delicious, Karen is a superstar & there's always decent people in & no mither. 🤩

Very traditional old pub. Traditional in the fact that I don't think anything has been moved since it was built. That is not a bad thing by any means, it is so nice to see a traditional pub with mod cons (karaoke, DJ etc). The food I have heard is excellent, although this information is second hand

Friendly and welcoming at all times and: if you or your group would like a proper home cooked dinner when in the area then this is the only place to go, by far the best and never yet equalled anywhere in Tameside. A step back in time , this place hasn't changed in decades . not a bad thing . lots of customers , friendly atmosphere. caters very well for the elderly. Good friendly staff never had to wait long to get served .
