I'd hear about The Buxton Inn and their amazing reputation of delivering authentic and totally scrumptious Thai food with both a full traditional English menu and a brilliant Thai menu.
The staff at very efficient and attentive and made me and family feel right at home in their very busy restaurant.
Me and my wife went up for an early tea. With our great niece. Food excellent. We ordered garlic chicken sticky coconut rice ,chicken noodles .young gentleman served use and was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be calling again .John n jean
Really nice and welcoming pub and restaurant, great selection of Beers and spirits And without Doubt the very best authentic Thai food I've tasted outside of Thailand itself.
Dogs are welcomed within the pub area which is a big plus for me and there's a quaint little beer garden round the back.

Came here for a friend's retirement meal and yet again lovely food great service and staff lovely. The staff who was working Saturday night were lovely and friendly plus the the bar staff too.

I called in for the first round of the weekly quiz (Wednesdays) (I was delivering a live snake over the Pennines). Really fresh and beautiful food but the real gem was the server Karl.....such a lovely man. He couldn't do enough for us, a credit to the place. Will definitely return.

Came in after being on werneth low park, service behind the bar was lovely an friendly, food didnt take that long and was tasty too. Was a nice pub will be back to try the thai food
I'm not sure where Lesley went, but from the review I didn't see any of the complaints made, the 2 young ladies last night where very attentive and professional, the food was excellent and seeing I walked 2.5 miles to get there in the rain, it was well worth it.

I can't fault the food, however the waiter or the chef got one of our orders wrong. I got shandy instead of larger as well. They did knock off the cost of a meal as an apology.
Haven't visited the buxton in years. I had forgotten how lovely it is.

Friendly staff, very well run pub, great Thai and English food in Restaurant and Bar areas. Weeping Tiger is a must either with or without chillies depending on your preference. Good entertainment available some Fridays and Quiz on Wednesday. We will be back very soon.
