The best curry house by far in the area. Absolutely love the spice bistro, fantastic staff, fantastic service and of course fantastic food. Highly recommend Spice Bistro to everyone.
We loved Spice Bistro when we lived in Hollingworth 2 years ago. The best Indian food around and super friendly staff. And they made a fuss of our then 12 yr old daughter and she loved it. We couldn’t recommend them more. Really miss their food.

I am probably into double figures eating here and the experience is predictable and delightful every time. The food is amongst the best I have eaten and the service is always efficient and friendly.

Since the initial review I have been chatting with the owner, Naz.
Naz has been nothing but apologetic and honest with his response to this review and has subsequently offered to personally prepare the meal again for us.
Based on the way he has handled this I have altered the star rating to 5. This is a business owner who genuinely cares! Not many people would go to these lengths.

Was OK. We've had better but also had worse.
Good points: Fast and efficient service on the phone and during collection.
Naan breads and rice were lovely and generous sized. Poppadum and pickle tray also good..
Bad points: Found the curries a little bland. Not the worst in the world but could be better. I'm not an expert on Indian cuisine so can't really say much more.
Tandoori mixed grill was tasty but for £15 I'd expect a little more. 2 small chunks of chicken and lamb, a chicken leg, lamb kofta and a single prawn didn't seem a lot for the price. Which is a shame because they were tasty.
For a little under £50 we were somewhat underwhelmed. Maybe they were having a bad night as the majority of the reviews are excellent! Maybe we will try again but next time eating in?
Brilliant night. Although, my lamb Roganjosh tasted like lamb in tomatoes. No real Roganjosh taste. Not at all spicy. All other food I had was delicious.
Absolutely love this restaurant. Best naan I've tasted, and the tandoori is perfection on a plate (or, in the case of the mixed grill, a board - try it!)
The staff are beyond lovely and clearly care about the restaurant and its customers. The premises feature a double height ceiling, yet retains a warm atmosphere. If you'd rather opt for a takeaway, you won't have to wait long.
In short, get a curry and a Cobra from this place and you might soon find yourself compelled to leave a review that sounds like it was written by the owner's best friend.
Stopped at random when passing through town. Proved a good decision. Good food and service, not too crowded at 6pm on a Thursday.
We were a table of 13 tonight for my Dad's 80th birthday. The service was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and the food was superb.

The food is amazing at this place. Every dish I tried on our football meal was exceptional and the Bangladeshi cuisine was second to none. I will definitely be going here again. Warm hospitality and pleasant atmosphere, I found the place very relaxing.

This is one of the best curry restaurants I've tried in Manchester. Superb, chilled atmosphere in an old high ceiling bank (I think).
Could do with a few local, fresh, modern IPA craft beers such as Cloudwater or Magic Rock instead of corporate Green King to match the high quality of the food.

I was so happy when we got a place like this in the village, and even happier when the food turned out to be so good.
The staff have all been great, and they greet the customers like old friends.
I will miss this place when I move away.
Absolutely superb. Booked a table of 10 and everyone loved all the dishes without exception. All the team were really accommodating and happily adjusted dishes to suit allergies/tastes. Food was delicious and evidently made to order. They were especially friendly and patient with our 18mo baby and even let him say hello to the chefs which we was thrilled about! Great value for money, will definitely be back!
Had a nice meal with my husband and son. Waiters looked after us well and food was tasty. Handy to have car parking at this time of year when weather is changeable.
Went there for the 1st time. Can't fault it. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Indian food. But this place was so nice. I'd recommend it to anyone. It's worth a long drive if you aren't local too. The staff were 2nd to none.

Great staff who offer a real insight into the food they prepare and what ingredients each dish constitutes. Always willing to modify a dish to suit special dietary requirements or cater for people who don't like it too spicy. My partner suffers with several food allergies and the staff were very polite, understanding and catered to her requirements without hesitation. Delicious food available to dine inside or takeaway. Highly recommended 👌
Wonderful food. I have a garlic allergy and they went to a lot of trouble asking what I liked and made a dish especially for me. Everyone enjoyed a really nice meal in pleasant surroundings. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
