Didn't get the opportunity to eat as they were not serving food until Friday unfortunately. Had a couple of different Timothy Taylor beers which were new to me and both were excellent. Great local village pub with a friendly atmosphere and cracking beers ... What more could you want?

Really nice calm friendly atmosphere Food was lovely, we had the full Parmo meal and the steak and ale pie and they did not disappoint. Portions are big and taste great! Beers and cider were very nice.

We visited for quick Saturday Drink and catch up sports results after beautiful afternoon walk. The BEST Sunday lunch in North Yorkshire bar none. I've lived in a few places around the UK and I've found nowhere yet that matches this place.
