How can you not live this place! First off the village is lovely and is a real North Yorkshire picture post card village.
As it was a warm day, we say outside. Service was good, food delivery was good and the quality was more than acceptable. Costs were good and it's nice to be served by a small business.
Called in here today for food and drink and had a lovely experience. Staff were very attentive, pleasant & chatty. It’s dog friendly too. An ideal stop off whilst we strolled around this very pretty village. The craft shops behind this cafe were shut at the time of our visit which was out of season so was understandable. What a beautiful part of the country this is. We parked in the council run car park just up the way, a bit pricey at £3.50 but at least we could park with ease, it also takes card payment which was good. A pleasant stop off.
Lovely little place with very friendly service and outdoor seating. For us, they put our lunch in takeaway boxes so we could enjoy the sunshine on the green.
Had a delicious chicken mayo sandwich with salad.
My wife and I had an excellent breakfast at a very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and meal arrived promptly. Looking forward to returning soon.
Lovely takeaway afternoon tea for 6 people. The sandwiches and cakes were all delicious. The owner even invited us to come back for free ice creams later in the afternoon, such a nice gesture and something we were all highly grateful for given the scorching weather that day. Highly recommend to anyone!
Lovely quaint cafe,ice-cream parlour and licensed establishments.Serving simple well cooked and presented food with good portion size at a reasonable price. Staff were very pleasant and had fantastic customer service skills.Only downside was entrance which needs a ramp for wheelchairs as I saw a man struggling to get his sons wheelchair over the threshold.Well worth a visit if your passing!!!!!
The lightest lemon cake we have ever eaten! Together with very welcome hot drinks served by lovely staff. We will Definately be returning.
Food is absolutely delicious
We had ham and mustard sandwiches which were made with good quality products. The home made lemon drizzle cake was to die for,absolutely gorgeous!
Service was efficient and lady serving was unbelievable pleasant and helpful.

Fantastic food and staff, super friendly, amazing tasting food that came out very quick despite being quite busy. Very well priced too! We’ll be back!
Popped in after a visit to the nearby Ryedale Folk Museum.
Fast & friendly service, excellent coffee, but the highlight was the lemon drizzle cake, absolutely amazing!

Brilliant little dog friendly cafe. Food was wonderful, even catering for my wife who is on a low carb diet.
Waitress/owner was very friendly and helpful and extremely efficient.
And prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food provided.
Will definitely be returning.
Had tea, coffee, fruit scone and the most luscious lemon drizzle cake you will ever experience. Great location, smiley and friendly staff as well as tremendous food. Will make a regular pilgrimage now!

Warm and friendly welcome to four wet and muddy people and two dogs! Excellent cake and great coffee. Worth the drive to the village even if your not walking the moors!
