After been bought some gift vouchers for this place I decided to give it a try, what an amazing place, will definitely be back. The staff and management were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. I work in the same trade and I could not fault the food. It was amazing.

Well, where do i begin? We Celebrated My Father's 60TH here this evening, never been before but after my sister's previous visit she suggested we book here. Every person that joined us (17) stated that they thoroughly enjoyed the food! We all highly recommend it! The staff are outstanding too! You made regulars out of us and we are not local.. The food was excellent, on arrival we were asked if there was an occasion on advising it was my mums birthday - that member staff made sure our waitress knew she wished my mum happy birthday and even had a candle put in her desert.
The food was really good, service was excellent staff we're attentive but did not over fuss and just the right amount of time between courses. Really nice ambiance - looking forward to visiting again soon
As usual fantastic food and incredible service. We were celebrating my husband's 40th birthday and they had kindly decorated our table. The staff were so attentive and fantastic with my little boy, even offering to wash his travel plate and cutlery so I didn't have to put dirty things in my bag. Keep doing what you're doing!
13 of us came together for a family celebration. We were in the private section with a long table. It was lovely. Everyone ordered different starters, main meal and desserts. Food was amazing, service was fantastic. We all had a really lovely time. Big thank you to all the staff who made it happen xxx
We went for restaurant week.
I had goats cheese for my starter which was honestly incredible a full slab of cheese, balsamic onions, salad, glaze and toasted bread
For main course I had a chicken parmesan. It was nice. The homemade chips were good, the parmesan was nice and very filling. Everything was lovely
My pudding was fruits of the forest cheesecake of the day and it was not good at all. The cheese was sour and salty, the fruits were tart too so the whole thing together made my jaw hurt. But the rest of the food was lovely and the staff were Brill.

Went family as three of them had birthdays all around three weeks in October. Service good, pleasant staff, attentive. The food was very enjoyable.
The ambience was relaxed and friendly.
Booked ahead to be certain of being served on a Saturday evening. Greeted warmly on arrival. Good selection of drinks and menu options. Chose mackerel starter and cod wrapped in parma Ham main - both were well prepared and presented.
Already plotting a return in 2023 (after all it is more than 250 miles away from home address)
I'm so glad we booked as this great place gets very busy. We went for an evening meal mid week, and the food was lovely. Would definitely return, and I definitely recommend it. I pushed the boat out and had a desert, and wished i hadn't as it was just too much, but still lovely.
Such a lovely pub and the friendliest service. We had a great lunch and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the pork belly and the white bait! Goats cheese parcel was also a winner!

Ate her a good few times and again today 25th June, Once again the menu was varied and a choice from a Ala crate menu and the Lunch menu or a mixture of both. We went Al a crate and what we order was excellent cooked how we like it and just the right amount of portions. Service was excellent and the price was reasonable. Would and will be going there again as soon as I get a window of opportunity.
Lovely restaurant, food was amazing and the staff were very good. Would recommend and will be back to try more from the menu.
