We came today for beauty and the beast afternoon tea for my step daughters 8th birthday. The staff were absolutely lovely complimenting her dress (she dressed as belle) as soon as we walked in, they even took her cupcake and put a candle in it and sang happy birthday. The food was delicious and the table layout was amazing. I can’t recommend the tea cosy enough and we will definitely be returning. Thankyou again.

What a lovely place! Took our dog Doodles who thoroughly enjoyed being fed doggy ice cream by one of the staff 😍 Very dog friendly, we sat in the garden for two hours just taking in the peace and quiet. Lovely food, great tea (don't forget to use the tea strainer) and very friendly staff 😍

Celebrated my birthday there with delicious treats and the best cuppa ever! It really is a warm and friendly place to go, staff are amazing as I have hearing problems and they are always really accommodating. Perfect for a special occasion or popping in to have a quick bite to eat. Can't wait to go back :-)

I've been wanting to visit for a long time and finally made it today with my family. I'm so pleased I did. Such a warm, welcoming and quirky tearoom. The food was delicious, especially the fresh homemade cakes! Lovely, friendly staff providing great customer service and a wonderful experience. Very dog friendly....I think our 8 week old puppy stole the show today with staff and customers :)) Will most definitely come back.

FINALLY got to try the Friday special cake this week as managed to get away from work early enough. It was well worth the wait! Brilliant little cafe, can be overrun by large groups so best to get in early if you are after their best cakes! Will definitely be back again!

Perfect as always, wonderful service, scrummy food. The perfect location for people to be people and relax with a cuppa and cake .... and in our case today, a Harry Potter themed tea. X x x

I came across 'The Tea Cosy' while looking for somewhere local that did a Beauty and the Beast afternoon tea for my hen party, and I'm so glad I did! Super friendly, lovely staff, and our table was decorated so beautifully with a whole host of fabulous looking things. The food was delicious and the price was a bargain. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be back again soon!

We've been here a few times before and this time we came for the Disney Princess themed afternoon tea. The cakes and drinks were amazing as usual, and the two princesses (Elsa and Sofia the First) were so good with the children - especially their singing! Highly recommended for hot drinks and cake, though I've yet to try the savoury options (don't worry I will definitely be back at some point to do just this).

Nice place to stop for cake. Good portion of cake. Staff friendly. Tea was OK... don't like the tea pots with the little sieve in the top, doesn't give a good brew. Some parking at rear.

Loved it! Go here! This was such a nice and unexpected experience. Gorgeous setting, very dog friendly, and delicious food (+ loose leaf tea). The lady that served us was BRILLIANT - wish I'd got her name! Try to plan in advance so you can book the lovely afternoon tea. Seriously, go here.

Lovely place. Cakes are beyond amazing. Having eaten cake here before, we asked them to make a chocolate cake for our son's 6th Birthday. It was amazing. It had all his favourite chocolates, and tasted fantastic.

Dropped in for a coffee and a slice of cake while out on our motorcycles, our server was very accommodating as the café was quite busy,a proper hot coffee that made a change from the usual luke warm efforts that seem to be the norm !

Just had a wonderful Beauty and the Beast themed afternoon tea for a baby shower at The Tea Cosy. The staff were so lovely and accommodating and the venue is very cute. We were able to decorate around our table and play some games. Such good value for money and the food (and unlimited teas!) was amazing. It was a great afternoon.Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely sandwich, I had the coffee cake after but it wasn't very coffee flavour and the sponge was very dry. But the kids thought it was a lovely treat for the start of the long summer break.

I went for the first time today and loved it. The staff are lovely. Had a chocolate cake which was absolutely delicious and so big I had to share it. Cup of tea was lovely too I do like my tea and sometimes I go to a cafe and think my tea at home is nicer I could have just stayed at home but this was not the case they had a good variety and good quality tea. Love it there
