Wonderful to see this local reopened. Excellent roast, friendly service and lots of locals to keep the conversation going. Worth a visit if you enjoy good food in a traditional pub setting. Think this will be a definite winter favourite with the log fires burning.

Friendly staff, happy to make menu recommendations and really accommodating. We got a selection of nibbles as a shared starter, all really tasty. The venison scotch egg (with a runny yolk) was a particular highlight! Did note limited range of non-alcoholic adult drinks (only Heineken 0) so car drive
The last time I visited the green man was in 2020 + then sadly it had shut down. This is the first time visiting since it has reopened + I must say, this pub has not lost its charm. Stunning and historic pub in a beautiful setting...the inside is traditional an comforting and would be lovely in the winter months with it's log fires burning..food menu is very different from any pub menu I've seen and the meals are amazing!!! All cooked onsite from scratch , outdoor space is huge
