I had cod, chips and curry sauce, and it all tasted very nice indeed. A light crispy batter on the fish was lovely, the chips were nice and potatoey and the curry sauce was lovely. Used Barry's as I was staying in the Travelodge 0.8m away, Google'd nearest takeaways and walked up through the village

Probably the best fish and chips within a 30 minute drive. We got three cod and two large chips and had a portion of chips leftover.

Best fish and chips in Cambridgeshire.
It was really busy (Saturday night) but was not kept waiting too long as the focused team cooked my food to order. The fish was nicely cooked, crispy and not greasy, and as tastey as you could expect away from the coast. The large chips was perfect for two. We will definitely return for more.

Lovely family run fish and chips. Prepared fresh to order. Under new owners but one long serving member of staff still working there helps things run smoothly. Gluten free fish and chips Tuesday to Thursday. You can ring up to order ahead.
Friendly staff, generous portions and reasonably priced but nearly everything is cooked to order so there is often at least a 20min wait for your food to be cooked creating queus at busy periods. Would recommend phoning ahead to pre-order and collect to reduce this.

Recently changed owners (summer 2017) and is still the best fish and chips for miles. Really crispy light batter and proper chip shop chips. Best eaten immediately.
And they sell Dandelion & Burdock like every great chippy should.
I've lived in a few seaside towns and cities and still have never had fish and chips better than here. Maybe it's a nostalgia thing... Or maybe it's just because this really is the best fish and chip shop
