Excellent food , I’m new to area have tried a couple of Chinese takeaways but definitely prefer this one
I think this place is the most Authentic Chinese takeaway I have ever been in out side of either China towns. Mr Wong is just awesome, he has a menu that is just simple but fantastic. Mr Wongs place is somewhere that has been in place for over 30 years... this is the reason. The food we ordered was cooked fresh by the Man himself, so I don't mind the wait, it wasn't laiden in grease, it was just beautiful. Tbh I feel like I have been missing out only having just discovering his takeaway as we are not local. We can't thank you enough Mr Wong for explaining the difference between dishes without looking at me like you want to lose the will to live 😉. We think your take away is amazing and awesome and super and we can't wait to get back. 🙏🏻

The food is always fabulous - tip top quality tranditional-style Chinese takeaway.
It's best to phone ahead at peak times and allow an hour or so for the food to be cooked.

Excellent food, pancake roll amazing, all mains and rice were very good, mushroom foo yung needed more seasoning/flavour and prawn toast was a bit dry. We would definitely go again.
Really great Chinese but very confused by the new opening hours. Surely Friday and Saturdays would be the most popular days? Due to this I have to go elsewhere ☹️

Lee Wong is a local legend. Unfortunately due to house moves I hadn't been for a while but then in the past three months I have been twice and Lee still remembers me from when I was a toddler and I am not 32.
I'm chef 20 years what I can say highly recommend Chinese food perfect prepared and very tasty and very good portions (duck with rice, chicken with mushrooms) can't waiting try another dishes

Lee himself is very friendly and always takes the time to chat, and the food is always piping hot and delicious. Don’t be put off by the green exterior - this is an excellent Chinese takeaway and one of the best we’ve ever visited.
My family and I have been going to Lee Wong for over 20 years. It is the benchmark by which all other chinese food is judged. I've lived all over the UK and I am yet to find a better chinese takeaway!
A take away I use often! The portions are more than fair and the quality is usually very good. The service is also very friendly and prompt; even when it's really busy the order is ready in about 30 minutes.
